Different spawn system for GRB

You’re going to spawn CAS from SP of being shot at?

If i want to keep playing i do. It means i would have to work line ups to figure out how to get the most out of the sp. Not to mention that the cost change with up/down tiers.

Would be annoying to have a lineup that uses the 1k sp well but gets skrewed over in a down tier or leaves sp left over in an up tier.

Your system will have a snowball effect too. Just a bit different. A lot of people will first spawn cas and wipe the ground. Then you will get a mix of people rage quiting from getting nuked in the first 30 secs by a plane and people leaving once they cant spawn cas anymore. Whoever wins the air war, snowballs from the other team rage quiting.

You’ll hate it when I say that, yes, yes I do…

If the cap failed, and I’ve been shot enough I can still spawn CAS.

Up or downtier shouldn’t have to affect it anyways, it’s dumb enough you get screwed out of rewards because you happen to be top BR so all your kills are worth less.

You could easily prevent that by making air something you have to earn the same was as in arcade, opposed to a cap and bail.

Very few things in the game that can just be shot at.

A hellcat is what I was in… I did it just earlier on in the past couple of days in fact.

So the sp costs wouldnt change regardless of the up/down tier?

So like 3 kills? They could also do this under the current system by itemizing weapon loads.

I personally like GABs simply because it means that everyone has perfectly equal chances. AAB is just nice due to the sheer chaos, and it means that you can see a lot more variety of planes.

To each their own, though!

Not quite three kills, its moreso three kills/assist via spotting/passive point gain.

It just wouldn’t do anything for the majority of players that do not get kills and do not get to spawn more than twice even if they want.

Yeah, especially the naval one (I love waiting in a queue for 20 mins to hop in and die)

I actually think it would, because it would lead to CAS spawns immediately since there’s no earning goal. Then they leave having not accomplished anything and died

The truth is CAS needs to cost more, and a CAP locked loadout needs to cost less. Like a broken record I’ve seen Alvis say it, and he’s mostly right for anyone that’s skilled. CAS isn’t in any danger from any SPAA with a competent pilot. Only another pilot in his fighter jet is the effective counter at this point. But the cost to bring CAP is BARELY any different than to bring a well loaded CAS layout on my CAP plane.

CAP needs to have a pre designated loadout of like 2 aim9m and 2 aim120 and cost much less to spawn. So you’re only a threat to targets in the skies, and on a limited basis too

You can bring the full 8 aim120’s on an f15 if you want, it’ll still cost like it does now. But there should be a preloaded armament like I listed that would cost significantly less. Like 4-500sp

This is why we need itemized sp costs. It would raise the sp costs for full loads while allowing light loadouts to cost much less.

It would also help force more varied loadouts. Under the current system, why should i use 2 agms at +250sp when i can use 2 agms, 4 aams, and 6 bombs at +250sp

Preaching to the choir, I don’t agree so much with the solution, but I am on board and agree with the problem.

That is only even slightly true beyond BR 11, so essentially top tier.

At 10.x you’re just starting to see the standoff F&F weapons, and most of the SPAA’s are plenty dangerous to even competent aircraft drivers.

AGM-12B Bullpups can easily be used as standoff weapons against SPAA at 8.7. If you’ve actually bothered to bind the controls it’s just a good 10mins of practice. They can hit out to 8km (albeit controls go super floppy at this distance) and leisurely take out gun SPAA which can only focus on one target at 2.5-3km. A direct hit is not required on these lightly armoured vehicles.

Let’s say I use a Bullpup on a SPAA, which is what I would normally do when I see tracers. The opposition’s air defence capability is already significantly degraded and my teammates can bomb with near impunity. It takes a good fighter pilot to actually threaten them. And I ain’t even that good, if you have a pro flying the plane it’s on lock, it’s finished

I only play top tier and this discussion only seems relevant to it. You can 50cal other planes quite easily the lower down you go.
