Hi all, as topic.
I’m currently playing the Viggen 37C.
I found that after the recent patch or update, idk. My sky flashes often suddenly run away from the target even though I made a double lock (Two circle lock), and my radar lock didn’t even flinch.
By theory, if I am not mistaken, the double lock means the missile seeker should have a clear recognition and data analysis about the target.
Why will it deviate instantly by the time of launch?
Is it just me or do others have the same issue also?
Much thanks
Nah SkyTrash has always been like this, it should be better in game but it isn’t, same as Red Tops and SRAAMs and any British missile basically. The best way to use SkyTrash is to basically launch them within 5 Km, personally I usually wait till 3 or 4 km head on :) works about 50% of the time
Was the radar in PD mode?
I’ve had some issues with the Skyflash DFs missing when fired in PDV on the FGR2 but works perfectly in SRC
yes it is in pd mode
i kind of disagree, coz i played some games at least before the J10 update was released. And the performance greatly decreased.
Ive been meaning to do some deep dive testing in the FGR2 with guiding Skyflash DFs with PDV. I don’t think something is right there. Might also apply to PD on the Viggen
Try using SRC wherever possible is my only advice at the moment without seeing a replay of the Skyflash DFs not working right for you, might be something you’ve missed
I wonder how much begging I’d have to do to get gaijin to remove (DF) from the Skyflash and AIM-7E-2’s names
