They moved the F-104s down to 9.3 because people dont know how to play them Imagine the silliness of facing on at 8.3 and your whole team basically unable to do anything

They know the F-104 is unkillable but they they care. This and the other 9.3s (MiG-19, Ariete, Ayit) make 8.3/8.7 unplayable.

Reminds me of AV-8 or F-105 when it was added they Need to move up AV-8A and F-104 all the Really capable planes are too strong to have a chance against
If they simply moved 9.0+ up after decompressing 10.0-13.0BR there wouldn’t be such a big problem now.
My A10s Aim 9L thinks otherwise. But it doesnt really need to be moved up because it does not have flares.Any missile with more than 12gs you will die to. It has it pluses for its BR but it isn’t some game ending machine.
Damn I didn’t know there were Aim9L at 8.3 but good to know.

Yeah BRs work both ways. 10.0 premium A10 AMX(I think) all have aim 9Ls
If it is 9.3 it can still go up to 10.3 while going to 8.3.
What i’m trying to say is that the F104 is balanced
Yes tell me more about how the A-10 helps 8.3 planes fight an aircraft that’s twice as fast as them.
That is what happens at every BR range to an extent. There is no better place to put it because than it’ll be unusable.
What other BRs has planes that have a top speed difference of ~800kph?
The F-104 makes an entire BR bracket unusable.

Bro no it doesn’t. You just need to be aware you can easy dodge it and most people playing it will not know what to do before you turn around. I agree it isn’t the best thing for the BRs health but there is NO where else it can go.
It would be perfectly fine at 9.7.

Would still have the same problem, but this time it will get slapped by even more Ir missiles that it can’t out turn.
You can’t kill it at all if you’re not one of the 2 8.3-9.3 jets that have strong missiles.
The F-105 is worse and sits at 10.0.
You’d rather have an entire BR ruined than nerfing 1(2) aircraft.

How? It is a strike aircraft that has decent speed and can carry a good bomb load.
So the F-105 at 10.0 doesn’t suffer from missiles despite being slower with bombs but the F-104 does at 9.3?

It isn’t ruined by it. This is just the start of jets. 1BR above you will be better in every way. It could be speed or weapons
This is a silly assertation. 9.3+ flareless jets also have to face AIM-9Ls, except the F-104 is best equipped to avoid them with its speed, acceleration and 2 AIM-9Bs (not to mention low heat signature in a head-on)
