Gaijin, I have serious doubts anyone will actually read through hundreds if not thousands of walls of text AND comprehend everything. I have had my threads, bug reports, and suggestions closed because some staff could not be bothered to read beyond the first sentence.
Leaving a textbox for suggestion is a must, but you must also add some specific questions, preferably via community vote on which questions to add.
Please focus on Starstreak missiles for the new update, these missiles need a big fix or upgrade than a cloaked nerf, please Gaijin Stormer HVM and Starstreak need a fix because the missiles are far apart, slower and still go through objects

A better generalisation for soft stats, such as Hand traverse of turrets, some tanks have very slow traverse, while the same mechanism on other versions are magically faster, in general slow traverse, where the tests are missing should be improved. Hand traverse should be adjusted up to other tanks of the same tree, and only on historic basis down, isnt of Low speed if no historic tests are available.
Regarding a rework of Hand traverse i made this idea:
Having to change the BRs of dozens or hundreds of vehicles and breaking everyone’s lineups for something few people care about the historical immersion of, is a rather large reason not to
My suggestion is Ground/Air/Naval only PvE, and Combined All PvE.
Ground only is like Panzerfront form old PS1 and PS2, Air only is like Acecombat but more restricted and realistic.
Naval is also cool… destroying ground targets, ships… If you can choose vehicle from wartunder’s arsenal, it’s so cool and fun.
Combined all PvE is my dream.
Tanks destroying enemy tanks, fire point and advance, Aircraft support and protect them and bombing base or ships, and Ships also support ground or fighting against ships…
It can be unbalance in PvP, so PvE has chance to combined all.
It may be chaotic, but sounds fun isn’t it?
Make an actrual playable PVE gamemode with actrual sensable difficulty & economy.
Decompress top BR.

That’s it, I don’t see that correcting the bullets is such an extreme change in the game. With the issue of damage I would make it simple, that each bullet has a different spalling cone. For example, the APHE and AP with a cone similar, with the APHE being a little better, but both depending on the caliber of the bullet, and going further into the tank depending on the excess velocity after penetrating. The APCR and APDS with the same cone as the APHE and AP, also depending of the size of the penetrator and its speed, and adding the factor of whether it is made of tungsten (somewhat more spalling), or tungsten alloy (somewhat less spalling). The HEAT, HEAT-FS and missiles with a cone somewhat smaller than the AP, depending on their damage and range on the remaining penetration after passing through the armor. I would leave the HE as they are, but the HESH need an intense improvement, they would need overpressure, greater spalling and a fairly large damage cone, although with spalling that is not They would reach very far into the vehicle. Regarding the APDS-FS, I don’t see that they are bad as they are.
Exactly, because it is wonderful to go with the tiger 2 or ferdinand and die by a ratel 20 missile, or by a pair of AML 90, or an M48. The game simply needs those changes.
If you got a meaningful buff to ammo, then your BR would go up (has to, to cancel it out to the same balance), and you’d just die to some other thing 0.3 or 0.7 BR or something higher (depending how much of a buff we’re talking about here), instead.
So the only actual benefit is historical immersion, which very few people care about for something like this one ammo type (not very flashy)
It just boggles my mind how multiple times a day, people are up in here with tens of thousands of battles on record and don’t know how basic BR adjustment works. Win rate/KD/etc go up, BR go up too. All buffs have to be canceled out, or the game is thrown out of balance. So buffs/nerfs are only ever for immersion and history
The game is already more than unbalanced, if the ammunition is modified the only thing that would change would be that the WW2 tanks would be more separated from those that carry HEAT-FS and APDS with high penetration, also on the other hand it would help the tanks that only They use AP without explosive, making them more equivalent to their counterparts with APHE and there would be almost no need to even change their BR, except in some cases where because they carry AP they have a ridiculous Br.
I already mentioned this a while ago, from what you see in the games and how people play, it seems that people want to play WOT and they don’t know it, they want to avoid realism and everything is more arcade, and they don’t like it. Play the tanks that work well for you even if they are unbalanced or historically incorrect, this is what happens when gaijinn dedicates itself to expelling many of the veteran players, and in the end what remains remains.
Except that you made that up. Especially since Gaijin has no reason even to lie about the performance of “everything that uses AP in the whole game”. It’s not like AP is never found in premium vehicles or something. They have every incentive to have balanced the win rates to around 50% as-is for such a common feature that is in all sorts of tanks throughout the game. So any big buff or big nerf would be 46% or 54% and need canceling out with BR changes.

Nah thanks, I’ll keep playing War Thunder and have Gaijin continue to cater to me and people like me for fun as a much higher priority than niche historical immersion. Why wouldn’t I? It’s already being done the way I like it. Why don’t YOU buzz off if you want something different, not me?
You just have to look at the deaths of a Br 6.7 with APHE and a Br 6.7 without APHE, the difference is enormous, but it seems fine to you and gaijin, so go ahead, it doesn’t matter that the game is unbalanced since people don’t know realizes, or does not want to realize.
