also interesting that that was added at 14.0 while POBIT is being added at 14.3

Gripen e has 9 missiles and is 14.3 and honestly the f18e and f15ge are better overall due to them carrying more missile tho.

If you could please support this bug report. It is to get the cockpit modelling corrected to feature the ALQ-213 and the ATD to increase the accuracy and realism of the model. Thank you.
F-16C PoBIT Cockpit Modelling

Hey @Smin1080p I have a few questions regarding the F-16C PoBIT.
Firstly, I saw a discussion last week regarding the F-16C PoBIT receiving an updated/different HMD, and that the Rafale’s version of Thales Scorpion was attached to the suggestion for a temporary placeholder. Are there any updates on this?
Secondly, (tied with the first question) I also saw the dev response to the report was that the PoBIT’s HMD is not in game yet. Does this mean we can expect a more modern version of Scorpion in the (near?) future?
And then finally, are there any more updates regarding the GBU-53? I remember it being pretty much denied for now, but I’m curious if anything has come up that might change that. It would be very nice if the US got a new CAS weapon, especially one that could be used with PIDS+ pylons (unlike the 3x AGM-65Ds).

It’s a bit tricky with Scorpion since we don’t have any images of any air to air symbology for the F-16 only what the ground symbology could look like.
But seeing how it’s already close to what the A-10C has they could use it’s Scorpion as a base and just add the ground target / IFF boxes in colour instead of the current X it uses.
For air symbology maybe they base it off of JHMCS II air symbology?
Obviously it would be this mutant HMD but anything is better than the current JHMCS and will give it a usable HMD until we start to see what the full symbology of Scorpion for the F-16 looks like.
Or Gaijin goes for JHMCS II instead of Scorpion since we know more about that currently. It would also give the other aircraft like the F-15’s a better HMD too.

Yeah I mean personally I would be happy if it had:
- Missile seeker symbology (shows where the missile is looking, like JHMCS has)
- Radar lock symbology (shows where the radar lock is, like on the F/A-18s JHMCS, or Rafale’s Scorpion)
- IFF + DL (shows friendly positions, like on the A-10C)
So if they updated the A-10C’s HMD to have radar lock and missile seeker symbology I’d be pretty happy, personally.

Is the lack of an option to use MAW/BOL blocks together with AAMs on the F16C PoBIT final? Does this mean that, for example, you lose one AMRAAM missile for 90 CMs or two for 180? If that is the case then it adds zero value to the ARB capability of this aircraft.
Don’t know, they might be working on passive A2A search & tracking modes for Targeting pods in the background.
- LITENING AT (AAQ-28(V)4)A2A tracking and SARH / ARH support
- The ASQ-228 ATFLIR should be impacted by this change to IRST
Could also be the signs of the planned inclusion of the Legion IRST pod

we already had F-16 that should’ve had scorpion so dont expect anything.
And we still have the fraud gajin did to J-10C and fake units…
Im gonna repeat what i said for months ago, the way us cas is being treated is absurd, the us pioneered guided a2g ordinance, and still spesrheads it today, yet ingame they get none of their tools despite how off meta they might be.
The f/a18e one of the most capable strike aircraft in the world got added with no new weapons still using the same nerfed agm65s.

It’s not what you think it is, it’s not IRST.
TGPs need a tracker sensor (TV or IR) internally to be able to track targets. In the game you can’t see them, you automatically equip them together with the TGP.

Well because Storm breakers would be “game breaking additions” as if the Kh38ML/T (fake missiles as far as I’m concerned) didn’t completely destroy game balance, or as if LGBs didn’t completely destroy game balance, as if so on and so forth. The US CAS in this game post 2021? Has been gimped beyond relief for no rightful reason other than it isn’t Russian, or so I’m being led to believe right now.

The US CAS is 1980s technology Mavericks, lackluster damage model. Atp. out of the big nations, US CAS is the worst.

US CAS pretty much is, unless you think laser guided bombs (not even glide bombs) are better

Glide bombs are underrated, the ljdam 62 er can move on the fly and adjust to a moving target, slinging them and getting kills makes them super effective
ok, and look at what US planes have those on live (heres a hint, there is only 2 in tech tree)
and even the few that are getting them now on dev have significant artificial limitations on how many they can carry
