Its using fake units that nobody cares about, something called “ft”, “nm”. Idk what an idiotic system why would anybody use it. The hud and the hmd pages corretly show proper and international units

gaijin wont let me log in ito issues ;-;
Does China use km on the HMDs? I thought that ft for altitude and nm for distance were the most common.
So does JHMCS which we’ve had in an unfinished state since the Block 50 was added in September 2023.
If you read further down, you’ll see I mentioned how it wasn’t not allowed, it’s just not there. Something can not be denied- but it not being there is still frustrating regardless.
iirc pretty much everyone but russia use ft and nm for aircraft
Has there been any report made on this?
Not that I’m aware of but gaijin might deny it either way saying that the visual model in game represents the older flare dispenser that took twice the space.
In game is it not using the same model as that on the F-16C-50? They both should be using the same AN/ALE-47 dispenser unless I am an idiot.
I did some more research and appears with them using the 30 large caliber countermeasures and 60 non it’s a little weird. 30 large caliber flares would be x2 15 countermeasure buckets with the MJU/7 which are used in combat. Where all the other US aircraft are using the smaller M206 flares which are 30 per bucket so they let you just change 120 total however you want all small caliber on the other F-16C for example. They either need to go to 120 small caliber to be consistent or allow the combat chaff which is RR-180 to be used in the 30 slot bucket but each slot is a double pop so you would have 120 total chaff.
Actually they have been slowly adding or transitioning a lot of the F-16s from small only to small + large countermeasures.
So I wouldn’t be suprised if the 13.7 F-16C is just awaiting the same treatment.
Interesting did not know that. I wish we could get the double pop chaff then for the other 2 buckets then. It would be complicated to work with the slider because if you just upped the number to 120 for the small caliber you could take double flares too. But now makes me wish there was like a more tuned/realistic countermeasures selector where you could select what you wanted in each bucket for planes that use a system like that
I’d rather just have the single RR-180 or M206 flares be run and allow us to run full 120 CM. Limiting chaff and flare by visual model is a little stupid IMO plus the F-16s do single drops now as well.
Or if the aircraft calls for it, allow us to swap between large and regular CMs.
Yea I agree they should just make it 120 like the other US jets that have 4 dispensers, until a more complex system is made. I am cautious to bug report it because I feel instead of making the 52 have 120, they will just do the same thing to the other jets like the F-18 and F-16C-50
At least the F-18s have 120 CMs modeled so there’s no changes for that.
The other aircraft that could get affected by this is the F-15s. Their model shows 120 Regular CM and 60 Large CM

corrects the functionality of the PIDS pod with AIM 120s
There’s 2-3 sub-variants of the Block-52 but do you know the operators of the block-52 outside the United States?
after this update there are only 2 non US planes at 14.3 and higher with less than 10 missiles
and both of those have significantly better missiles
so again, why do you want the US tech tree to have to follow stricter standards than other tech trees
It’s not just the US I want every tree to have less missiles. RIght now top tier is jsut who can throw more missiles at each other instead of who can employ missiles the best and dodge others. I think they should restrict every plane to realistic and limited loadouts as well as make the missiles harder to dodge so theres actual skill.
