well i see nothing that would stop it from doing it irl, so
also it would actually be the kinematically strongest mode to launch the FB-10A in
the loft nukes its kinematic
can use the loft to dunk on people MP ig, with its like 35° impact angle, but direct will be kinematically stronger
well in the midcourse, it’s the same as SACLOS, but when the IR seeker sees something, it will switch into the IR mode at terminal
also there is nothing you can report about it anyway, the whole missile is modeled like shite
Yeah so its being launched in maddog mode basically. similar to the Japanese SAM

nah it has active player guidance, while the maddog is seeker only, it just doesnt follow the crosshair 1 to 1; swerves a lil bit off
wait so you launch and then can actively move the missile around?
oh damn I need to see a video on that lmfao. that deffo sounds bugged
Presumably it would still use the J band Tracking director for the data uplink, so it will likely trigger RWR’s on release
from what i see its fine lol, its just completely unbound from having to have a TWS lock like on live.
you can do it on live aswelll
its “command guidance” + IR irl so its perfectly fine lol
ohhhhhhh I wonder if this has pulled some changes from the new IR target locking they added to SPIKES and its somehow made it too this
maybe, maybe not
the FB-10´s have always been fucky
like their length in the files is the same while their visual models arent lol
If you look at how SPIKES now lock a target at the crosshair spot rather than pre placed positions (warm spots) I think the FB10A got the same treatment when it should not have
like i said the only thing that changed from live is the prerequisite of having to have a DL contact, thats all
more likely the code broke, when they changed something unrelated lol

spaghetti code for the win I guess :D
https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/comments/1xjlj46/spike_buff_on_dev_server/ this is what I’m on about btw. spikes now lock where the crosshair sits. they somehow broke missiles that shouldnt even have anything to do with this
