- Desert Warrior — the gun depression and elevation angles have been changed from -8/60 to -7/59 degrees.
I mean if its realistic then fine. It’s already a pretty terrible vehicle. I cant believe a light Recce/IFV has optics as bad as that in game. Have there been any changes to TOW-2A or B?
I agree completely. Just grinded it, I find it really bad. Yea I did not take the latest apfsds, but I really struggle with it. It is really badly slow. Big. Gun is useless, you do not pen almost anything. The rate of fire is so slow that you cannot even destroy enemy barrels before they wipe you away. Tows have a big drop, so you must be veru careful not to lose them on the ground. I am really disappointed, I prefet to use my premium Rooikat at 10.7 BR because I feel better with that.

It has all the negatives of the Bradley and none of the pros.
ATGMs still need to be fired stationary, No air tracking IRST system, lower pen export APFSDS, no commander thermal site for hull down launches like the Bradley and it’s slower!
TOW-2B is still massively nerfed at this point they take 2-3 to kill an MBT and 1-2 to kill a light vehicle.
TOW-2A have a good pen but they are slow and again dont always pen ERA and angles. Making using them a massive liability.
25mm is anemic, with a lower pen dart, terrible spalling! Side armour for even a 2A4 can be problematic.
It’s just generally a really poor vehicle.

Yeah. It’s very annoying as they announced it with a much better dart then released it with what is has.
A better dart would help immensely.

I have never understood the “export” mentality. We have Desert Warrior with an export dart but the XM800t gets DM-63…an export APDS round it wouldn’t have used in US service…

They are and if it’s a balancing decision give it the US dart and put it up the 0.3 BR higher…makes no difference you face the same tanks anyway!
