They usually do BR changes 3-4 times a year, you can suggest changes to specific vehicles when the proposed changes are posted in the official news section.

Yup… Its weaker than most, if not all BMPs, its 10.0 BR is just wierd. Thank god Ajax is actually half decent for a change
I usually check a vehicle on statshark when i see posts like these because 99% of the time it’s just an angry player that doesn’t understand how to play a decent (or middle of the ground) vehicle. But this one… wow… Even in a full down tier all vehicles it could face have statistically higher K/D ratios than the dessert warrior.
out of 141 vehicles in the BR range of 9.0-10-0 the dessert warrior is placed No. 141 in K/D ratio. (For November it’s 140 and only the M3A3 Bradley is worse)

Yup, it also doesnt help that we dont have that much of a 10.0 line-up either, so you are usually using it at 10.3 or 10.7 and now, why use it once you get the Ajax which just does everything better bar ATGMs
Its basically a TOW truck and TOWs are well… TOWs. I had an MBT tank 2 the other day, barely scratched the paint

It has about the same acceleration as the TTD that is an MBT.
Imo it’s not fast.
According to the wiki, its faster than a lot of IFVs at the same BR, but it doesnt feel like it in game, so I dont know if the Wiki is wrong or something else is going on. But it coudl just be that it has a higher top speed, but god aweful acceleration
top speed is good yes, but how often do you use the light tanks top speed (especially if the acceleration is bad)? x)
The strv 9040 BILL for example has the same engine HP but is 6 tons lighter so has ~23hp/ton (compared to 19hp/ton) and it has 5km/h less top speed.

Yeah, I’m not a fan either. I haven’t unlocked APFSDS on it yet, which might be skewing my view of it, but it just feels so anaemic. On paper it’s very similar to the Dardo though, and I hardly hear anyone complain about that, so not sure what’s up with the Desert Warrior.
Even then, you probably arent going to be killing anything other than other light tanks with those shells. At least I never bothered firing at an MBT with them
DW is a bit less mobile and fires much more slowly.
If Dardo is at 10.0, I’d say DW could go to 9.7 without a problem.

maybe if the TOW-2B wasn’t so bad i can see it being at 10.0.

Id quite like to see some kind of limitation made on the available TOWs and dropped down to like 9.0. Would actually be useful for the tree at that BR.

Just checked with the again and the kills per death is below the M3A3 by a small margin and the kills per spawn difference is huge
I like the Desert Warrior so far, it’s on-par to all other 10.0s, and obviously superior to all 9.7 IFVs in the game.
I haven’t gotten many games in it yet, but it’s getting there.
TOW-2A and APFSDS are the reasons it’s 10.0, not the B.
