If you play it around the TOW-2B and use them to kill enemies behind cover it can be useful, lowering it’s br wont do much since the autocannon would still suck and ATGM flaws of not being able to fire on the move or fire from behind cover would still be there. It’s a gimmick vehicle, use is as such.

APDSFS does so little damage that I dont think it should lose that (Weaker than stuff like the Badger) but yeah, Regular TOW2s probably weak enough for 9.0

I don’t really think playing one match in a vehicle gives you enough insight into how it performs on average.
BMP-3 at 9.3 isnt that far off. so it could go there.

Yup, at 10.0, if you dont have the FV4030/3 you are probably always going to be using the DW with the 10.3/10.7s instead, With the Ajax there now… I dont see the point of having the DW in the lineup. There isnt even good CAS at 10.0
But at 9.0/9.3 things like the Chieftians become an option, along with stuff like the VFM5 and even CAS like the Buc S2.
It’s not just one vehicle though. It’s multiple.
Desert Warrior is a different configuration of the M3A3 Bradley.

Then of course you have Type 89, BMP-2M, etc that I’ve used.
I play matches to get data on ideas. So while I may have less matches than others, those matches are after hours of thinking and considering tactics.
It’s why I started with a KDR of 0.4:1 in Begleitpanzer and am currently over 1:1 in the same platforms now. And that’s just the measurable. Kill assists, scouting, etc all went up in success as well.
My original ideas of how to use it were wrong, and now that I use those systems after refining them, the performance improved.
M3A3 is also among the oldest IFVs I’ve used and its performance shows.
But yeah, there are over 10 IFVs at 9.7 - 10.0 balanced around each other being the BRs they are.
Desert Warrior going down would cause a universal reduction of BRs for IFVs.

M3A3 and Desert Warrior are both dogwater, both are some of the biggest POS I’ve ever played bro the BMP-3 clone Type 04 at 10.0 just superior everywhere.
Desert Warrior isn’t Badger levels of trash. But they somehow ruined its one strength by giving one of the worst ATGM firing motions of any vehicle.
It’s only as high as it is due to having top attack TOW 2Bs, which are apparently being balanced around as if they were in their original, unnerfed state. As it stands now, they’re all but a liability.
Outside that, you get APFSDS on an autocannon with such a slow rate of fire that any advantages in pen or damage is almost a nonissue, and TOW 2As which are nothing exceptional for the tier. The BMP-3 has very similar missiles (Except they can be fired on the move) at 9.3, and the BMD autloads them at 9.7.
I would take the BMD over it in a heartbeat, and honestly even the BMP-3 depending on the map.
This thing is downright awful to use and even more horrible to grind the M3A3 could be 9.3 or even 9.0 and it would be 50x better.

And you have abysmal stats in the M3A3 as well compared to your average stats in light tanks in that BR range , so i’m confused as to how you think it’s “on par” with other light tanks.
If you compare all your rank 6 and rank 7 vehicles (with more than 10 matches played), out of 113 vehicles you have played, your performance in the M3A3 places 104’rd in K/D ratio, 109’th in RP gained per match and 109’th in SL gained per match.
Then why is the dessert warrior performing so much worse on average compared to it’s BR counterparts?
Conjecture. They don’t balance after vehicle capabilities, they generally balance after vehicle performance.

And Gaijin’s balancing is very well known: They cross analysis with other vehicles while taking into account performance.
This is why R3 T20 moved up to 6.0 despite its performance not indicating anything. Other vehicles similar to it were added the same update it was moved up.
Also Statshark is a skill metric, not a vehicle capability metric.
