Did the developer specify somewhere why they removed the 6 JDAM bombs from the AV-8B?
so it was not even said that it is a bug, or that it is a bug, or that it is not a bug, at least the changelog did not say anything about changing the number of JDAM, only the Community Manager’s comment will clarify the situation.
I don’t think that JDAM is a weapon that should be removed because of the balance, however we have already implemented GBU-8 in the game, which do not capture equipment, but only a piece of land under the equipment, JDAM has the same mechanics, it always has a point in the capture, and that’s what does not make it a weapon of mass destruction, Su-24M has 7 such bombs, and the combat rating is 11.3, what is the point of taking these bombs from AV-8B, which is at 13.0.
Ah true. I wouldn’t put it past Gaijin to add something like the Lyons before something more competitive like Strasbourg/Dunkerque still. But if they hold to their rule that the vessels have to be laid down then yeah that would be off the table.
Right now, I think adding vessels that just have more guns than what the current vessels have is not what UK, IT, and FR need. They need ships that are an upgrade in speed, armor, and gun caliber-- if not two of those three categories-- in order to compete with the top vessels.

@Smin1080p_WT with addition of new Chinese gliding bombs can we expect to see SPICE series of bombs for Israeli aircraft in the future? All Baraks and Baz Meshupar could benefit from that as they are currently lacking in A2G department compared to other nations.

I don’t really know why some of you people keep asking for the Lyon class but it won’t ever happen. The Lyon were never laid down, construction never started. They do not meet the criterias for acceptable unfinished ships. Best thing you’ll be able to get is Normandie.

As much as I’d want 10 JDAMs as well for my 70 Euros I’ll drop on it, if they are on racks they can only take pre-programmed coordinates and can’t be redesignated in flight.
And unconfirmed, but heard somewhere they have to be on the same coords per entire rack.
I value realism above anything else in this game so I’ll take it as they’ll bring it.
