Caps lock and insults in forum posts are worthless and help no one, please submit actual bug reports.
By your description it also sounds like she may be modelled as a '30s-era Amagi. It would probably be best to know which year she’s supposed to be before throwing around insults (I wish the “project” in the stat card was paired with a year, instead of replacing it).
Also a great option for high end PCs too since DLAA is generally better than all other AA. Also, as you said, it’s basically SSAA without the performance hit.
I would say that this doesn’t matter since that basically is complete fantasy design. Which Gaijin just made up.
Which should be huge talking point and I personally really don’t like idea of it. And Gaijin should clarify what addition are okay if this is possible since I would say these are much more unrealistic then ships not laid down but with complete designs which opens can of worms.
If you think I’m just going to use capslock on the forums, you’re sorely mistaken. That being said, I will scream it from the highest mountain if I have to, there is no escuse for these blatantly obvious mistakes. At no point down the production line should anyone have "OK"d this model.
There is no “30s-era Amagi”. The ship was designed in 1917, just after Kaga and Nagato. The two ships were laid down in December of 1920. All ships of the 8-8 fleet after the Nagato class were cancelled in 1922 due to the Washington Naval Treaty. Amagi and Akagi were slated to be converted to carriers while everything else was sent to the scrapyard. However, Amagi herself was damaged beyond economical repair by the Great Kanto Earthquake and subsequently began the scrapping process in 1924, being replaced by Kaga. There is no possible way that there could be a “1930s” variant of the design.
I am aware of the history. I don’t think I need to explain that had the Amagis not been cancelled as battlecruisers, they would have served into the '30s and WWII.
Right, but they didn’t, not were there any plans for them to. Plus, the turrets wouldn’t have been put on without a Nagato-style pagoda and a whole slew of other changes as, those turrets weren’t modified until the big fleet rebuild.
There is no precedent for it other than, and I believe this to be the series of events: They have a complete Nagato model in their files somewhere, but don’t want to blow their load on such a famous ship so soon. So they had their modeler reuse assets from Nagato to make other ships from the 8-8 fleet. Particularly the turrets as they know they were reused on Nagato later.
While understandable that someone would do this, it is blatantly wrong and super easy to identify as such. The catapult is just nonsense.
I never said that there were real plans (as the ships were cancelled well before that), simply that the modeller may have had specific intentions (hypothetical '30s refit) rather than it being an error, which is not the same thing and thus these require different types of feedback to have them corrected.
I understand that, but what you’re missing is; how do you bug report a fantasy remodel that Gaijin made up?
How do you prove that it can or can’t have something when they’re just making it up? 90% of it would just be assumptions. Such as, its an almost certainty that the #1 funnel would’ve been curved back as on Nagato and Mutsu. However there’s no way to prove it. They would’ve replaced the big AA guns currently on the model in 1931(?) witht he guns currently on every other Japanese wartime BB, however how do I prove it? Maybe this specific remodel kept those guns until their inevitable 1930s rebuild?
Hey, didn’t the leak list mention TWO CTWVs, RCV and ICV?
Maybe there’s still hope for one of them to come to the regular research tree?
In that case, how would ICV differ from RCV?
I really hope there is a tech tree CTWV… Japan’s only new Top Tier light vehicle since Type 89 being a Squadron vehicle that takes 4 months to grind would be sad.
I think Spain would work better filling in gaps and adding premiums ect.
I mean like even though Hungary is added Italy still manages to be smaller than France.
Chat gpt :
" France has more vehicles in War Thunder compared to Italy. According to the game’s wiki, the category for French vehicles lists 77 entries, while Italy has 73 vehicles in its corresponding category
Both nations offer a diverse range of aircraft, tanks, and naval units, but France edges out slightly in the total number."
