Hello there! May I ask- have we seen everything regarding Top Tier MBTs for this major update, be it in terms of additions, or bug fixes and historical corrections? Such as the Abrams turret ring matter, the wrong Challenger 3 (TD) modules and engine power, or other armor-related matters (Merkava, Leclerc…), or mobility (Type 10’s steering and acceleration, Leclerc’s acceleration…)?
I have been checking the Dev Server after every update and I gotta say I am kinda disappointed there were no fixes of any of these reports, or any bone for us MBT players at all :( (beyond the 70€ Premium).
The situation of the vehicle changed, so its BR changed. There was no reason to leave it at 10.0 after IRST was removed. Again, all BRs are subject to change.
I appreciate this is a passionate topic for you, but I would recommend toning it back a bit.
But when the French community wants the Vextra 105 to receive OFL 105 F2 even if it means the vehicle going up to 10.0, then suddenly BR becomes an issue?
But the devs had no issue with putting the CV9035NL at 10.0? But they take issue with putting the Vextra 105 at 10.0 where it could perform much better relative to its BR with decent APFSDS?
There is no issue taken other than the lack of a line for a tech tree light vehicle. Squadron vehicles are independent and should it have remained at 10.0, then considerations could have been made if their stats aligned with that or a new round was possible for them to also move to 10.0.
As I mentioned above, Squadron vehicles can come in at independent BRs. Tech tree and premium vehicles are generally aimed not to be placed at a BR where there is nothing else where its possible to avoid it.
Should it have remained there, others could then be moved up.
If it’s not appropriate then I’d be in favour of it being removed.
Because she’s a super cool design, and is the next logical step for the tree (as opposed to a late-WWII refit Nagato, which is the last thing before a Yamato). I’ve been looking forward to all these post-WWI / Washington Treaty era ships for ages, and I’m very happy they’re finally starting to show up.
We’ll almost certainly see a Kaga-class and maybe a Kii-class before Nagato, perhaps additional Kongou-class and Amagi-class sisters as well (again, with Nagato being the most powerful thing before a Yamato).
Oh god, yes please. I have no idea who chose Mutsu’s current placement, but it’s absolute nonsense; Amagi belongs after Kongou, Mutsu should be in one of the other two lines (with Nagato in the same whenever she comes).
I fully support this. I can only assume some dev read a line of text that simply said she happened to not carry any late in the war, and took that as absolute fact, and to mean “couldn’t”, without actually having any common sense about the topic.
Tone had her spare aircraft on the rear deck removed and replaced with AA. Not her actual aviation facilities, which are plainly visible, fully intact and functional, on her in-game model.
Giving vehicles things they could use regardless of whether they did or didn’t at a given point is a core balance aspect of WT, such as missiles and tank shells. Tone very much can equip floatplanes, just fewer of them than before. (Which isn’t even relevant in gameplay at the moment because we still can’t use spare planes.)
Yeah, I’m assuming Smin didn’t mean Barham is Britain’s Rank VI ship, in this context. Fingers crossed it’s a different QE in the tech tree in the next couple patches.
