i mean look at all the US and UK vehicles that are in other trees and not in their country of origins trees. it happens to fill a gap so gaijin do it. or if not can we finally have the biggest travesty of WT fixed M22 to UK and removed from USA as they were the ONLY country to use it

2A7V just stomp on everything with a bit of knowledge of weak spots, DM53 take care of the rest. Best MBT in the game for me, just well made ( i have survived lots of ATGMs and AGM the turret face just eat it all).
And that is why a long time ago I suggested the shell for Leopard 2PL, which, unlike 2A7V, could actually use it for balance… a thread that, by the way, was ALSO met with criticism and counterarguments, funnily enough:
Being an all-nation player is exhausting. Every time I try to advocate for improvements for (X) MBT/Nation, I get bashed by (Y/Z/T/Q) mains who do not wish for (X) to be remotely comparable to their MBTs/Nation.
Every time I have advocated for Leopard 2PL, or any Abrams, or now the Challengers… it always goes down the same way.
I just want all- ALL of the MBTs and nations to be balanced and enjoyable… but many mains only want their own MBTs and nation to be above all others.

Your asking something like, mhh lets give mienengeschoss to to english and american captured 109´s but the german ones dont get it. Same aws way in the past with japanese tanks getting german top end rounds while german tanks had to use rounds that where out of comission for years not even in use with said tanks.
i wouldn’t bother, the best way to show the point is to get them to play the challengers after playing the leopard. the challenger 2 is like hard mode and the leopards are casual mode, same with the leclercs and arietes (i mean these 2 are hard mode)

but it offers literally nothing over the 2A6 in a game sense
it can literally be a Modification in the 2A6 mod tree and nobody would care
It’s the curse of War Thunder being a primarily free-to-play game with a heavy grind. People are primarily going to focus on their nation of choice, and view any improvements to another nation as a direct impediment to their own progress.

I would actually dig a 2A6A3 mod for 2A6.
Would make it look and “feel” more up-to-date compared to the early 2000s 2A6 we currently have, even if just/mostly cosmetically.

The F-15C could recieve a TGP on the centerline station. Though this makes it an even more “frankenplane”

Part of the problem is compression. Challenger 2s use to be quite good, but after the buffs to every other nation and the intervening 2-3 years of top tier additions that get exponetially better placed at virtually the same BR. They begin to feel their age. Also Gaijin likes to artificially nerf the Challys. That doesnt help either. We fought rather hard for improvements, so we got a dev post where they made up information, like the aluminium backplates for the TES/OES. 100% fake, was proven so within about 3 days of the dev blog. Bug report is still up and acknowledge and never got fixed

The R&R threads tend to get out of hand a bit sometimes, once we have already had Dev Servers and full Dev Blog seasons. I guess it’s the pre-update chaos, hahah.
Also, this time also happened that someone and myself got confused for a moment and mixed posts on threads… bound to happen when you are multi-tabbing different threads and drafts save among tabs lol
The 2A6A3 or 2A6MA3 would be cooler with the addon plate on the upper glacis

Oh, yes, that’s the one I meant, edited! Furthermore, that add-on UFP composite would make it a liiiittle better as well.
But I mostly want such mod so that it does not feel so out of place next to 2A7V, hahah. Although 2A5 feels more out of place, since it’s phased out by now. PSO also feels kinda out of place, since it is not a service-vehicle, but at least it looks modern enough and it could technically have been put in service too, so xD.
