Dance of Dragon - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Isnt anti ship missiles called AShM?

Are they really a new type of weapon though? They seems pretty similar to APKWS or CIRIT in practice.

Or do you mean a new type of weapon for fixed wing aircraft?

I’ve seen both being used to refer to Anti Ship Missiles

I have seen both ASM and AShM used in reference to anti ship missiles tbf.

No, they’re essentially Chinese APKWS. again LASER guided, you pick the strike point.

Do we know when the english stream starts?

As I said before, it will be the same treatment as with the Indians. A subnation, not a subtree.

13:00 UTC according to the ingame popup

I dont think that changes anything with naval targets. Adjusting the hit point doesnt work. At least it never has with me when dropping laser guided bombs or firing AGM-65s at ships

ah nice. 1 hour before the russian stream.

On youtube it’s bugged and doesn’t display the time left

Well, they haven’t announced Switzerlands home yet. The devblog doesn’t mention anything about future Swiss vehicles going anywhere specifically.

I’mma call that a skill issue tbh, I haven’t had issues with laser guided ordinance against ships. Though TBF I haven’t tried it alot

TV guided, it’s going to have the same problems with aiming centre volume as all other TV/Radar seakers

I mean with 2 unrelated swiss aircraft already in the german tree it’s already pretty clear. A confirmation would just make it formal

With the P-16 being a Pre-Order, I’m starting to see the resemblance to India alright.
1 squadron vehicle (T-90 and Swiss Hunter) and 1 pre-order/pack premium (P-16 and Bison)
If Switzerland follows India’s path, then it ain’t looking too good.
The P-16 is unique though at least.

But then again, Australia, Canada and several other nations

good point. Waiting for confirmation is probably better either way

Actually the same could be said for Norway?
Norway isn’t implemented as much as the other Scandinavian Countries in Sweden.
Norway has a premium Leopard 1A5NO2 and the Pack Premium Vidar

Yup, we’ll see.

At least Swiss vehicles would fit the German Tech Tree

Spoiler

Unlike Indian (russian) vehicles in the British Tech Tree

if switzerland follows the indian path then the F-5 would be a event vehicle like the jaguar but I doubt that will be the case.

They more or less need to add something for germany air now to bring people to buy the premium which will probably the F-5E. That’s how they do it most of the time. Add a shiny new toy for the tech tree and a premium to grind it with
