Could have come with ICE that would made it better in close range and have something uniqe to it and level teh field in close ranges with 4th gens.

“CB” is not a classification that exists in the RCAF. The post-1968 unified aircraft designations are as follows:
Cargo (CC)
Fighters (CF)
Helicopter (CH)
Observation (CO)
Patrol (CP)
Search & Rescue (CSR)
Trainer (CT)
Unmanned (CU)
Experimental (CX)
And the government of Canada doesn’t support this claim either:

It’s the same for me. Despite doing all this research into Canadian aircraft I’ve never heard of Canada using a “CB” classification or the Aardvark.
Less of a difference than there was between the F-16 and the Tornado.
Flight performance never really changed. Engines are the same for all tranches.
Weight surely increased with new avionics but to a degree thats neglectable with the amount of thrust
Do not know where that came from then, someone must have mixed that up with something else… I had a look and could not find any reference my self… very strange…
The flight performance wouldn’t make as much of a difference as people think, though, due to it being a BVR meta until things like the IRIS-T and ASRAAM come, so its biggest advantages will be radar and missile count.
