This is a bit off topic but I wonder if anyone has some relevant sources. I heard that the mouse controlld FM is designed by an engineer that actually involved in the making of the mig29, are there any sources that describes so?

AFAIK the EX can only launch up to 16 AMRAAM’s. the quad pylons are for carry-racking or essentially transporting excess AMRAAM’s to other locations. If you were to take quad’s you’d actually limit your load as all 4 missiles then cannot be launched.
Yeah, and I’m definitely not looking forward to being hit by HARMs while using an ADATS or FlaRakRad, while those pantsirs just shoot the HARMs down, like they do with the Mavericks

I’m 99% sure they are indeed operational but only intended as carry racks and can’t be used to launch missiles, but simply transport them, someone may correct me.
