CV 9035DK (Strf 9035 MK III)

Sounds great, let’s hope they give the CV9035DK the systems it deserves

if you need more proof i found a video of live fire airburst exercise in Afghanistan (1:12 in).

Edit:
it might perhaps not be what you were talking about but its still interesting :)

No, this is great!

It shows that what people are saying is true, and is not only interesting to see how the rounds airburst, it’s also fully now confirmed that the CV9035DK has the AHEAD ammo.

Due to this video, the video of the personnel talking about it, and cross referencing to the CV9035NL also having AHEAD, gaijin will have to give the CV9035DK the ammo at some point.

I made a bug report for both the AHEAD/ABM ammunition and the LWS/DAS.

Please feel free to give it a thumbs up.

Nice ^^ I’m planing on making one for a CV9050 MkIV as well.
The one i made for CV9035TD MkIV was with AKERON FaF missiles.
However the CV9050 MkIV has such a good cannon that i think it should be without the ATGM’s for balance :)

I agree with you about the 9050 Mk IV, i will put out two suggestions for the 9035 NL MLU and the Swedish newly purchased 9035 Mk IIIC (equivalent to the NL MLU but with latest Akeron instead of spike).

I would love to see the 50 mm implemented into the game.

The Swedish “9035 MkIII C” version has not yet been finalized has it?
As far as i know its still in development/test phase and no specifics have been decided on it (other than the cannon and armor).

Edit:
I’m wrong, its VERY recent so i missed it but an order has been put in on the 21’st of may this year (28 days ago as of writing this). But no information other than 35mm cannon, Mk 3 architecture and armor package C has been released from what i can find.

It will have the exact same speccs as the NL MLU, meaning the latest MK III technology with the D turret. The latest i heard was that the newest Akeron ATGM would be bought to equip the D turrets ATGM capability (that could still change).

From email conversation

*The model CV9035 MkIIIC is Hägglund’s most recently developed version of their export version CV 9035. It is delivered, among other things, to the Netherlands. The latest version, the MkIV, procured by Slovakia and the Czech Republic, is subject to some development.

To replace the vehicles sent as support to Ukraine, the variant with the shortest production and delivery time has been chosen.*

Swedish Defence Materiel Administration

You are correct!
“The new CV9035 MkIIIC is built to the same standard as the newest CV90 mid-life upgrade program for the Netherlands.”

and i also found this (no knowledge on accuracy in the article):

Where spike launcher is mentioned. it might be that AKERON requires the new MkIV electronics to function properly? it is both LOBL and LOAL capable with either autonomous guidance or crew input guidance or a combination of the two.

Possibly so reagarding the missiles. I dont have any definitive sources which one will be bought for the Swedish procurement yet

99.99% that it’s going to be Akeron, since that is the new mainline ATGM which Sweden will be using, having recieved the designation Robotsystem 58. Spike isn’t even used in any way by Sweden what I know off.

Welp looks like the LWS got denied

That would be amazing. Biggest question now is if the MkIII has the digital/electrical infrastructure to handle akaron or if MkIV is the only version that can use it.

The Mk III (latest version) most certainly can, its more a question for the turret in which the absolut latest turret has been confirmed so i definitely think so :)

Do you have a source for the MkIII being able to fire the AKERON?
as i understood it the biggest change from MkIII to MkIV was the electronics and computer systems so there is still a question mark around this for me.

That is true but we know that the D turret can fire both missiles and i believe it to be the turret that is the main technology giving it the possibility to fire it, the updated chassi in the Mk IV vehicle has alot more technology in it but i believe that is for the chassi exclusive and shouldnt have an impact on the turrets capabilities from my understanding. Still alot of information is’nt public yet so i’m more speculating now from my own service and experience.

Real shame on the LWS system tho! Anyone have any more intel feel free to make a bug report or post it here. I felt that it was a given thing since everybody knows about it.

Isn’t the D turret MkIV specific? or can that fit on older hulls as well?

No it can fit onto other models aswell, so far i have only seen it on the Mk III and IV. The Dutch MLU is a D turret and the Swedish and Danish modernization/precurement is with the D turret as far as my understanding
