CV 90 MK.IV data and discussion

A video going over a brief Anti tank strategy we don’t see in game

The CV90 MK4 is missing this feature in the game that would aid in fighting tanks covered in APS.
Imagine shooting a few airburst rounds that destroy the enemy tanks FCS, APS, Thermal sights.

But i imagine if Gaijin added shrapnel shells they would be insufficient to even destroy the APS effectively due to how little damage 30mm rounds do these days. Tested with the 30mm AHEAD round on the puma and it barely scratches the APS

I don’t think ahead rounds are a balancing issue for the 30mm, I think they are just a tad lazy or just haven’t gotten around to it because they are wasting time on infantry

Can we do the same thing as aircraft “only the technical capabilities are needed” lol

200 ready rounds, I feel like that would be quite the buff over the 80+74 we have lol

As far as im aware off in game, tanks, ships and aircrafts all have different standards

Unfortunately and fortunately yes, otherwise we would have T-72 at 9.3 with top tier rounds lol

I’m not saying that they aren’t available due to already taken balance decisions. I’m just saying that it isn’t the same as a bug that will be fixed at some point but rather something that might not get implemented at all if the developers so choose.

That air tracking would be present on so many vehicles ingame, its not irst and has henceforth been ignored

Sådant är livet

Based on this image is the 50x330 a trailing telescopic round?
I see the little cut out at the rear of the dart which could suggest it being a trailing design but i cant find anything concrete for it and trailing designs in general seem to be difficult to find so i only know of a few experimental designs that i dont think ever was built

The ammo was discussed a bit previously in this thread. Someone posted this image:

Damn looks like its not a trailing design then
Though i do wonder whether it could be an effective design in a IFV gun if one was made

That’s Rh 503 for you.
