Don’t know about the armor, but this:
I’m guessing you have an HDR enabled display?
If so there is a setting you can try:

(not my screenshot, stole it from reddit)

Thx, but does fuck all :(
Are you taking the screenshot with the in-game key bind or the windows “WIN + SHIFT + S” (snipping tool)?
Just print screen
Try the snipping tool to see if there is a difference :)
I will, none the less, it seems awfully odd to me, especially seeing as the armour plating + sidePRO/roofPRO plates is 20+25 MM all together, and it provides less protection than the equivalent aluminium thickness would have.
Not to mention the vehicle is rated for Nato standar STANAG 4569 level 6+ protection…
Wait this is a thing!? Thank you! haha.
it works too!

Oh the snipping tool is amazing and i use it constantly. You can select if you want a rectangle, a specific window, all screens or freeform screenshots as well. I think it can also screen record but i’m not certain, i haven’t tested that function.

Makes screenshotting rules in the the ToS and Code of Conduct A LOT easier ;)
I also used to use it in war thunder to show specific settings and things like that but since the last major update the game minimizes itself once i start the snipping tool but only if the game is in Fullscreen but not in windowed Fullscreen (This didn’t happen previously). Is this something that is known or should i make a report?
Oh I’ve been using Win+Shift+S for snipping forever, I didn’t know about the HDR fix, its one of the reasons I turned HDR off. Turned HDR back on now. :)
Screenshots and HDR is a whole thing in of itself… There are also sometimes issues with images being HDR but when uploaded to the forum they turn SDR during some sort of conversion or something.
Had a discussion with a forum user about it a while ago:
Like if you open up the main posts images it turns HDR even though the preview is SDR.
Kinda surprised the weight hasnt been touched at all thus far, but I guess they just love taking the maximum allowed weight the chassis is rated for and act as if its combat weight…
And naturally, they’re doing so while adding none of the additional optional equipment the vehicle is listed with, which according to gaijins current weight figures would not even be possible to mount at all.
(Same thing they did with the CV90120-T essentially, taking a 28t vehicle and increasing the weight by 7t while adding absolutely nothing to even get close to that weight figure)
Anyway, the CV90 MK IV should certainly weigh less than 37t solely due to using rubber band tracks;
Even if we take the 38t GVW-R (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) and deduct the 1200kg of reduced weight offered by the rubber band tracks, we’ll still end up below the 37t figure it uses currently.
Aside from that, it’s very odd that the vehicle comes close to the maximum weight it is rated for, despite lacking very heavy equipment such as spall-liners, lighter equipment such as the APS and also having a reduced ammo-capacity (which is utter nonsense to begin with).

And even then, the 1000hp engine doesnt automatically mean 38t GVW-R either, nor does a GVW-R of 38t mean that the vehicle reached that weight in any configuration shown so far;

Quite literally says theres >3.8t of weight left for future upgrades… (and this is the cz version, which has an APS and LWS, which the ingame version lacks)
And no, this does NOT mean they want to increase the maximum weight rating by another 10% - as their goal is to reach 40t, which isnt a 10% increase over 38t;
The ammo-capacity being reduced to a (already inaccurate) Strf 9040 figure is also laughable, given that BAE Systems themselves state the increase in ammunition capacity to be an upgrade the MK IV provides over its predecessors;
But surely “a larger ammunition depot for the main weapon” just means it randomly loses 166 rounds of 30mm ammo compared to the CV 9030 (MK 2/3), right?
