35/50mm are the same gun, you just swap out the barrel and a couple other parts.

then all we need to figure out if this 50mm change has been tested alongside the Akeron, as we already know both have been tested independently from each other.
I again would find it highly unlikely these tests have not been carried, if not for the export market at the very least.

I believe that cased telescoped ammunition is the future, and that the 40mm CTC has more potential than chainguns like Bushmaster
It also helps that CTA is a Nexter/BAE joint venture, and BAE is the parent company of Hägglunds who makes the CV90
BAE’s entry in the FRES program was basically just that, a CV90 with a new turret fitted with 40mm CTC.
Unfortunately it lost out to AJAX, and we all know how that turned out

Im still hoping that the lack of needed/accurate stuff added for the sweedish tt in the past updates will lead to either a new subtree Denmark/norway. Or a larger addition with more vehicles to it.
I always found this funny, considering that even MBTs aren’t immune to 30mm ammunition at 500 meters.
The 30mm’s rate of fire is so high that the whole “stanag lv x protection” thing is a joke.

Get used to firing 40 rounds into most T series tanks or 20 into light tanks

Dont get me wrong i have a decent KD in it but at 10.7 if i want a good spike carrier ill play the Vilkas or the Freccia, at least they have the ability to shoot and loock on to aircraft with their main gun or have remote turrets (not Freccia)
it has very poor spalling and does like no damage to MBT cannons either which truly sucks some major [REDACTED]. Other than that it is somewhat decent imo. Definitely has to shoot at 90 degree angle otherwise it will not go through but if you aim for where the crew members are stiting I can quite often kill enemies in 5-10 rounds.
Don’t get me wrong I am dissapointed in it but it works. Definitely cant play it the same way as the 9040C as that 170mm and proper spalling works incredibly well against MBTs side on. That has the problem of loading the first stage ammo stowage though.

Danske 9035 is just my comfort vehicle but same chassis as the MK.IV in game. Spikes are gimmick missiles and ill take the hybrid 40mm/30mm CV anyday as it gives 9030 mobility and 9040B pen literally 5mm less its a huge advantage for the 815hp engine.
Now if only the DK had the drone thermals the NL had at the same BR.

Oh enjoy literally not doing anything, i had to take my MK.IV off after shooting a T90M with 4 spikes and an entire belt of 30mm into his side, autoloader kept eating the rounds, thankfully a TKX killed him after shooting him 3 times lol.

I often get kills with the second Spike on russian targets, usually one on light vehicles and Abrams
See it depends on if they are staring near me or not, i find the spike either hits the barrel (does no real damage), spike hit roof, most of the time destroys breach only, maybe gunner, or it hits driver and well, kills the driver.
Its not significant enough to warrant bringing to higher BR’s when i can use the 9040 bill which has a gun that actually does its job, additionally while BILL II are hit or miss from time to time id rather the 10 missiles over the 6, also its 10.3, at top tier i just keep my 90120 as my only proper fighter CV90 since i prefer vehicles with speed and the Leos dont offer fun gameplay, CT-CV 105HP, CV90120, 9035(hes here as a last ditch support vehicle to advance with friendly MBT’s) and Ito are my main vehicles at 12.0 Leo’s are a last pull for me. Now when and if we get Finnish Patrias with the 9035 turret ill be happy.
