so would that thing be the 50mm?
would at least explain why it’s the only version that has that specific muzzle from what i’ve seen, where’s the 35mm usually has that programmable one

There’s actually videos of this one with a rather nice looking camo doing a track and firing (at the start of the first video) at this years NATO day.

Went for a little look for more images of the 50mm version of the vehicle and trying to see if there are any actual differences with the 35/50 barrels since it’s hard to tell, all of them are from expos but are more recent than 2021.

^ This image seems to be from around Oct '23 from what info I can find about it since it seems to be paired to headlines about “Saab receives order for sight- and fire control capability”.

^ Both of these are from cyprus based blog but it’s listed as a 35mm version.

(This week, Slovakia signed an intergovernmental agreement with Sweden for the purchase of 152 CV90 tracked armored vehicles.)

^ This seems to be from around the end of '22 as the proposed version for Slovakia, seen it listed as a 50mm.
(Although most sources about the Slovakian procurement do list that the purchased version is with the 35mm gun and not the 50)

^ Very few images and sources but this seems to be from the Czech Republic albeit they don’t elaborate on what this display actually has.

^ Both of these are showing the (35/50?) with a gun net and turret foliage with a more (swamp?) camo.

^ From two different sources but the same Cyprus blog from before confirms that the display from '22 had the 35mm gun and does note that this turret is newer, also being the version being sent to Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

It’s not listed what this display has.

DEFEA '25

^ Display for the Greeks from this year but seemingly the 35mm version with quite a different muzzle and without any ironfist APS installed.

Just a quick few, I know there are quite a few more but that’d be too long.

Sould we make a suggestion for the cv90mkiiic and or the 9050? Especially now that the arkeon mmp is in the game i think a cv90mkiiic is likely to get passed

Eh the MK.IIIC would need to be a delivered vehicle for it to be added realistically.

That is true. But it will not be long until sweden and denmark gets theirs although with 2 difrent missile systems

Wow, thanks for showing me these. I really like this one, the muzzle ties it all together for me

I’m not too keen on the other brake, the one that looks like a T. It looks like the designer tried too hard to make it look badass, whereas the simple brake is effortlessly so.

Idk why gaijin doesn’t add these skins as a GE option for vehicles, they would definitely sell well

he definitely succeeded

I feel the same way, but that goes for all the vehicles in the game. There’s an untapped market, and all Gaijin has to do is open the war thunder live floodgates a bit more. They’re adding like maybe 40 user skins per major? Why not do this more frequently, or in greater numbers each time.

Yeaaaaah I have to agree. It is a badass brake, just not my style is all.

Looking at it from different angles I see why it doesn’t click for me, it’s the angled front. It’s more apparent when viewed from the side.

angled

flat (edit by me)

I think I prefer symmetrical brakes, but that’s just my opinion

Well there is our confirmation that the 35 and 50 is the same barrel?

It can’t be, they might look the same on the outside though if they have some sort of sleave/sheath.

I’m very uncertain but i think they started to receive the first ones this summer. Though that is a sort of half speculation based on incomplete information from one article by the Swedish defence forces on the 17’th of June this year.

I suppose your right but why put the sleve on then?

IF it is XM913, then size is very different

I have no idea of there even is one, its just confusing as we’ve seen the same barrel be labeled different things.

But in general a slave/sheath could theoretically be for heat signature reduction or improving barrel cooling for example.
