So, by your meaning, the ROC flag is a historical flag, therefore we can place the ROC flag in the game because its historical to the era of ROC vehicles, and your taiwan is part of China, it means that the ROC still controls part of China, so there is still legitimacy of Chinese representation by the ROC. And by placing the ROC flag, it means respect to all of those who fought under the ROC against Japan, if we remove the ROC flag, it means disrespecting the nation they fought tooth and nail for. So with this logic, are you saying that the people who fought in the 8 years war of resistance were not significant in history and we should forget their contributions to modern China(both ROC and PRC)?

This is a good argument, because at one period in history the ROC represented the Chinese people. However, since 1949, its flag now represents an illegitimate state, and is a political statement rather than a representation of an independent nation. In a game full of Westerners, it would be misused to make hateful political statements rather than to represent a historical nation.

Companies like Gaijin and 1C face the problem that displaying the swastika symbol on German vehicles is simply prohibited by law in several countries, and violating this could lead to troublesome consequences for the companies.
