fair enough that might make it a little tricky to find out what version of Finland you are fighting at a given moment.
Imagine trying to find out whether your fighting German Canada, British Canada or American Canada
More reason to stop dissecting Canada but I digress :)

Thankfully, you can’t get all three at the same time, or at least it’ll be easy to tell, as the US only has the WW2 Canadian flag and Germany only has the modern flag (UK has both).
a list that never stops growing, it seems.
My issues with the personalizable TT UI aside, I really like the new thing that shows operator nations in battle, it works nicely.

It didn’t change techtrees or nations, this just tells you what operator nations the enemy has.
So instead of seeing blanket Sweden, you see there is Swedish and Finnish vehicles in the match. It only really gets confusing with one-off additions (old Italian/Finnish vehicles for Germany, Venezuelan Su-30 etc.) or split nations (three Canadas).
Personally I’d prefer if there was an option to only show nations that are permanently placed so each nation can only be on one side in a non-mixed battle, but even without that it’s a useful feature.

If you want three of one nation there’s still one option, Finland.
- Germany can be Finland through old event vehicles
- France can be Finland through the Ito (weird that it was even added, but still)
- Sweden can be Finland because it’s the Finnish techtree

True, that does require bringing one of the WW2 vehicles to top tier, but the flag is same for the full time.

Unsure if this is an issue with the implementation or intended, however, now with the ability to choose “operator flags” in matches, you can pinpoint exact vehicles an opponent may be using.
For example, seeing Lithuania suddenly appear as an enemy nation under the tab menu, I now know that an opponent has spawned a vilkas. (The operator selection in the tab menu is based on operator vehicles in play, not on the flag you choose to represent your research tree.)
I’m not sure how big an issue this even is, if at all, as I don’t play competitively enough. It is something I noted, however.

that is intended behavior, otherwise they would show entire lineups flags which could get very messy
