Calling people racist, swearing and then complaining when your post gets flagged (for swearing). Or saying that the moderators are biased against specifically you.

I think you’re not engaging with the discussion in a reasonable way, let me explain why
In this comment you’re:
- begging the question, simply stating that the flag is unnecessary without stating why
- downplaying the cultural, historical, and representational value that flags have
- downplaying your investment in the issue
- dismissing my argument rather than addressing it
and here you’re:
- generalizing, just because you “didn’t see people” doesn’t mean it didn’t happen
- doing a false equivalence, the flag is different, the situation is different.
- doing a whataboutism, instead of addressing the argument you shift the focus to a different case
If you genuinely can’t respond to our arguments without committing multiple logical fallacies and attempting to bait us into some political discussion then maybe your side doesn’t have any legs to stand on.

Please show some respect to our CMs. Not always the questions posed in the RnR (or in any other thread) can be answered as there might not be an official stance yet.
Not answering doesn’t equal to ignoring, please be patient on the matter.

I understand that, but at this point the silence is turning into an answer in and of itself. And it is not an answer that anyone is happy with, hence the continued tensions in this thread.
I’m not trying to shoot the messenger here, and I never will do any such thing, but I hope that it is clear to you that this is becoming a serious issue on Gaijin’s part.

Because, in his defence, he is the messenger. If Gaijin tells him he cannot discuss certain topics without their consent, his hands are tied. So it wouldn’t be correct to say that Smin is ignoring the issue, as much as following orders from above.
But alas, all of that too is mere speculation because Gaijin isn’t telling us anything

If he was ordered to ignore it it still means hes ignoring it. But Im not mad at smin for this, its gaijins fault. I find the intentional lack of communication insulting. No acknowledgement at all. Not even “We dont know”. Just straight up pretending there is no issue at all.
I am just waiting on an official response from Gaijin at this point, this issue did impact my choice to not buy anything this sale, because Gaijin, in my opinion, is showing favoritism and not following their own stated stance.

Yes there were people doing that. I’ve wanted the right Japanese national flag, the modern German flag, the 50 star flag for the US and more for a long time.
Now that the game established that all nations in a tree are supposed to get their flag instead of just having a set main one, this includes others like the Weimar Republic, South Vietnam and of course the Republic of China, which all have their vehicles in game and should be presented accordingly.

I think Taiwan flag should be added just because there are Taiwan vehicle in the TT, is there simple. If like mainland players said ROC flag only legal during before 1947 then there is no reason to add any Taiwan vehicle to the TT because in their logic Taiwan is not existed thus the government that buy those weapon will not appear which only happened in their daydream. Long story short, I think the flag shouldn’t remove because it is the justification of those Taiwanese weapon, you can’t said is the CCP buying those M1 to counter CCP right?

Ah yes glad you mentioned previous governments of other nations because to gaijin ideology doesn’t separate a tree as we got East Germany and West together and we can change the style of the tree too suit that need. The Republic of China should have the same status as them thus their flag must be represented

With all due respect to our CMs and moderators, it really does seem like Gaijin is putting us on hold. I understand that CMs has nothing to do with this, but Gaijin’s last response was to remove the flag, and we haven’t heard anything from them since. Even a brief update such as, “We don’t have a definite answer yet,” or “The devs haven’t decided yet,” would be enough. Otherwise, it gives people the impression that Gaijin is just waiting for the whole thing to blow over and has no intention of communicating further.

I have to agree with that, as always we should respect the gaijin staff team but at the end of the day they also have to understand they’re the buffer between us and the dev’s. If something changes without an explanation whoelse can we turn to other than CM’s ?
If gaijin insist on this change then by default they’re breaking their own ToS and could lead to lawsuit, if the staff can’t hear us then I’m sure the courts will.
Of course I’m not threatening court action here but the choice should either be,
A. Change it back to how it was on the dev stream
B. Rework the Chinese flags in the tech tree to better suit which nation operated what vehicle

If this thread closes and there no update, well it’s DEFCON 1.
I create a suggestion to add the ROC flag to the custom flags feature and to swap the army flags with ROC flags.
