Has any vehicle fielded by the ROC military ever flown this flag on their tanks? No? Then why should this represent these vehicles?

This is a Non-Answer. If the flag being army one is a problem you can replace it with the normal one (but we know why you wont) By removing the flag you took a political stance. Reverse the change or own up to it.

The sheer mention of Taiwan is a no go in the chinese community. I doubt a switch of nations for these vehicles will resolve anything

If I’m using a CM-11, I want Taiwan’s flag, simple. People are so dumb. Like that time I was flying from Beijing to Qingdao and the old Chinese dude was taking selfies with me like he’d never seen a white person before.

Its not about the vehicles themselves. They believe in the One-China policy. Aka anything that taiwan owns is also theirs. Be it a jet or tank that hasnt even touched mainland china
Call the flag Republic of China flag first and then you can start the discussion maybe?

Taiwan shouldn’t have ever been a Chinese subtree because of their modern US weaponry, ties, and that hostilities are a real possibility with mainland.
Absolutely no arms industry cooperation with mainland either.
Should have been/ should be a US subtree.

That bug reporter should know that gaijin has decided to remove army flags in favour of National ones
The Republic of China fought in WWII. Can the ROC flag be added to the game?
If not, please explain the reason

Taiwan is what your country is called for 99% of us. You’re only RoC at the Olympics.

There’s a misunderstanding
Currently the ROC army flag is used as background flag for all ROC vehicles and also to indicate “operator”. There is no national ROC flag in-game (except as a decal)
On the dev server it seems army flags will not be available as an option in the techtree customization feature.
So this bug reporter suggested changing the ROC army flag into national flag, so ROC will not be barred from this new feature.
