Where’s the Weimar Republic Flag?
There are tanks or planes in the game that were used by the Weimar government, only ships. And Gaijin won’t allow naval jacks to represent a nation (Except ROC in the TT, but hey, surely that is not an issue for the playerbase.)

As an aside, the actual Weimar Republic flag is identical to the modern German one, apart from its aspect ratio. I suppose that’s the reason Gaijin chose the Weimar naval jack instead as operator flag for Weimar Republic ships in the first place, making it distinctive (note that neither West nor East German ships use their respective naval jacks as operator flags, while German Empire ones do, so who knows what Gaijin was thinking).

To be fair it still would be nice to have since while the flags are the same, the name isn’t.
But even then Germany is currently the one nation still using a military flag rather than a national one for the WWII flag, so it’s really just Gaijin being inconsistent. Can’t even blame it on censorship when the military flag also featured the Swastika (replaced by Balkenkreuz in game)

They should change the flag to this (or with the Iron cross) as that’s more similar to what they used.

Actually maybe they could just change those boats from Reichswehr to WW2 Germany because they are the models that were modified and used in WW2 by the Germans. They have upgraded guns and Torpedoes.

Ok, they “hid” the RoC flag and changed it with PRC’ one.
And the “blank space” was an issue before 2nd / 3rd patch right after the updated, after that started to work normally (at the moment - v2.51.0.50 - every active in battle nation’ flag is displaying).
Regarding the reason - can people understand the essence of this problem is economical, not juridical and lies in commerce (because a certain WT community funds the project a lot, is very organized and hence is able to start whole “forum wars” and discreditation campaigns that usually are extrapolated to third-party social media, thematic sites and so on)? It’s evident.

Another exception for South Vietnam / Republic of Vietnam, whose navy flag represented the pertinent nation. By the way, cca. 2 weeks South Vietnam was present in customization menu, now isn’t. Probably was removed because of Vietnamese community’s complaints on its existence in the game.

They’re just going to keep dodging it. It has been brought up in other channels related directly to this new update and they won’t touch it. Doing so admits to the double standard and the sway China has over their game decisions.
