One spawn quitting is OK as far as I am concerned.

You get crew locked as punishment unless you don’t read it before answer he want the crew lock removed regardless battlefield situation.
So? I am very OK with one spawn quitters as they at least do not use CAS.

Everyone choice and that is why the crew lock excist to balance that One Spawn Quit is not rewarding but without heavy punishment.
I’m not sure it is a punishment ,I heard it was to combat bots .Gaijn don’t seem to care about ODL, in fact they promote it in many ways.

air RB is an exception if you crash and noone gets the kill you can still get crew locked

Try to play a battle but the game server gone and you go back to the hangar in crewlock… a true classic of WT.

I’m fed up of the nonsense crew lock, get kicked form server because of crap server and get locked out form playing as a result

There’s no point to spawn 2nd time after 7.7 BR, there are many fast vehicles, so all main positions are captured + CAS and hellis, 2nd spawn gets clapped near spawn zone. Or if your team wins, you’re just running around map and maximum get 1-2 enemies while spawncamping.
7.7 and highter I’m playing with only 1 tank, not because i haven’t lineup, because there is no point, I’m just giving free sideshots while trying to move, or 3-4 plane and helli launches rockets and bombs on my head.

the system of crew lock is outdated and needs to be removed my reasons being.
- spawning into a already lost match is no fun and unrewarding in both productivity and me liking the game after the match that i was forced to stay in.
2 its a very bad system for the player in regards of getting kicked from a match early and being punished for it
3 its outdated and doesn’t solve the core issue of players leaving early my main reason of leaving early is getting bad maps and getting the same maps over and over again and the lack of cover is spawn for most maps so why spawn when I’m going to get killed after my spawn protection runs out because the spawns are in the open(on like 70% of the maps in this game this game has horrible maps for spawns)
4 this system does not promote to me to stay in longer all it does is make me only bring one vehicle instead of multiple
5 the inconsistency of this game does not allow this system to do any good and only hurts the game
6 it is unreasonable to take away the players vehicle that they have worked for possibly for months or have purchased it only makes the player resent the game for however long there crew lock is

I’m a ODL kind of player because I know a defeat match from a winning one, that’s why I mostly bring one single vehicle,
The 3rd point you mentioned actually would increase the numbers of ODL players, no penalty means more empty matches.
Crew Lock is a way to prevent ODL, if you remove it completely few matches will be unprofitable for the players, less players means less kills, which means less rewards.
I’m also ODL if I get maps I don’t like, and occasionally stayed and respawn for matches that I think we could win, the crew lock doesn’t really prevent me from ODL at this point, I would still bring 10 vehicles to the match and leave after one death or even no death and switch to play other nations lol

Yes, a topic to consider: if the player has similar lineup in other nations he wants to play.
I believe by removing the crew lock also improves the matchmaking time one way or another, since some players only have one nation researched, they will immediately find another match if it weren’t for the crew lock cool down, in the end I think crew lock actually do more harm than good, if they give me sun city I could just leave without hesitation these days.
Bumping this again because crew lock is a horrible system to try and keep players in these terrible matches
Are you saying matchmaker put you into a battle that was partially completed?
If so, there’s a setting you can change so that never happens.
I made the change so I only enter battles at the start.

Atleast on playstation, theres a hack that when loading into a toptier battle and i see on the loading screen that the map is a 1x1km² city map i can quickly close the game and open again, and my vehicles wont be crew locked. i do that all the time to cope with these terrible, unplayable maps
whoever keeps crew lock in the game needs to get fired. it is one of the worst things in the game. it doesnt solve anything and just pisses people off.

I’ve seen many matches where a team was on the verge of losing, but through teamwork, they managed to snatch victory from the brink. Someone who only makes excuses and refuses to take action is nothing but a hindrance to the team. A person like you shouldn’t even be participating in the match.
