Credit for kills for ramming?

Why is every time I get into a head on where I kill the enemy but his plane or part of the plane hits me and the Enemy gets Credit for kill and I get nothing what is this BS.

The Enemy also gets a Crashed death which is another BS move can we please get this FIXED!!!

I was going to make a thread about this exact thing. If one plane kills another and then crashes into the more damaged plane, the more damaged plane gets nothing.

Even if you crit someone in a headon and crash, one of you may get no reward for no reason. It’s just very inconsistent and very bad. If someone damages another plane and causes them to crash, they deserve a kill.

It seems to be a mechanic to avoid abuse.
I subconsciously fully know it and how to get around it [aka don’t crash], but I forget all the details on how i learned it to get to that point.

This topic is not new:

Why can't I get a kill for ramming all of the sudden?
Could we fix the punishment for kamakazi kill?
…and many more.

Aircraft collisions follow for years the same rules:

  1. Two pilots (undamaged before) meet each other for a headon, both miss every shot and collide / explode = no kill for both parties.
  2. Same situation, but just one pilot scores hits = the guy without scoring any hits gets the kill - the other one just “crashes”.
  3. Same situation - both score hits, the guy with less hits gets the kill.
  4. Two friendlies collide (= ramming) - the ramming victim gets rewarded with a team kill if the rammer crashes - whilst the ramming victim just “crashes” if he can’t recover from the ramming attack. If the rammer manages to glide back to his airfield, he can repair and do it again.

Regarding 2 and 3 you see from time to time variations - so if somebody outside the 2 colliding parties scored previously a crit on one of them you sometimes get an assist and sometimes nothing.

Imho the keyword in your post is “kills” - i never saw that gaijin rejected mission points or SL/RP gains after the msg “Aircraft destroyed”. As written above the topic is actually dealing with collisions without a assigned kill before the collision.

Just going to mention that when using the gunless Arado for ramming, I sometimes get a kill credited, and sometimes nothing.

I’ve noticed a few times in these situations where the real-time messages (those things lower right in screen) will show an enemy got me, but that they crashed… but then the scoreboard and after-battle report will show that I got credited the kill.

(Not saying it happens all the time… but it does work itself out sometimes).

Seems you can’t READ!!!

First off I said why is it that the person who Crashes into you end up getting Credit for the KILL and this is exactly what happens.

I shot the Enemy and make his Jet/plane Uncontrollably from shooting the enemy, his Jet/Plane Rams me he gets Credit for Killing me but I don’t get Credit for Killing him this is the ISSUE!!!
