Create a gap between ww2 and cold war vehicles and tech

BR is faulty because Gaijin cant make it work. Proper sides would be nice but Gaijin cant make it work. Era separation would be nice but Gaijin cant make it work.Era specific maps would be nice but guess what? … So it goes on.

and along comes Alvis to take all these bad points and try to tell us they are good points.

Oh yes another game element that is shockingly bad I forgot that one ,Cheers Alvis!

It’s so “bad” that DCS and War Thunder are far more popular today than when they were trying to do niche unbalanced nonsense. ;)

This one wasnt exactly gaijin’s fault. Whenever an update dropped, like 80% of the player base would go try to grind the US’s new toy which made the queue times longs. Gaijin cant do too much to fix that.

Although my suggestion was to have mixed mm for the first 2 weeks after an update. But that would probably be weird for the vehicle performance data

Let’s be real, War Thunder really took off when they added stuff like F14, F16 etc. Hype for the next new jet is still the main thing Gaijin chases in these updates. Right now I think there is hype for F18 and Eurofighter Typhoon.

Imagine if a new game came out and it was similar to Warthunder but they separated the classes into WW2 ,Cold War and Modern for ultimate immersion. They had proper sides in the game, they had era specific maps related to the speed and era of the tank, they had a game without CAS.

People would jump ship like rats. Now why cant Gaijin do that and make sure the rats stay on board?

New additions that players begged for for ages.

I completely forgot about the eras, right now the only thing they accomplish is slowing down the grind. I think they were supposed to be more meaningful in the past, but I may be wrong.

War Thunder will be the first game to introduce the Typhoon with a “effectively correct” flight model.
People may complain, but War Thunder cut the flaws and progressed.

That’s not possible since they were removed.

It would fail, cause DCS and War Thunder already allow players to do this with custom servers/custom matches.
All Gaijin has to do is pull their custom match data and see what’s popular, and we all know era-specific custom matches are not popular despite Discord being available to gather people.
Zero people have made a forum post attempting to organize such things cause people don’t want it.

Oh, and the era-specific DCS servers are the least popular.

They are going for the buck and many are suggesting it is a last ditch effort to make cash before pulling the plug, hence why no desire to rework an old game and just let old faults continue.Makes me think twice before investing in a years premium which is why I haven’t this year.

Maybe you’re talking about something different that existed a long time ago, when I didn’t know this game existed yet, but eras I know of are still here. You need to buy 6 vehicles of the current era, to be able to progress to the next one.

those are tiers not eras

lol The fact you think Eagle Dynamics and Gaijin are just going to stop developing new aspects of their game is equivalent to believing the Earth is flat.

“Yes, Gaijin will stop overhauling their AI, and stop their engine development. They hate money and profits.” - Nonsense.

Well if that game takes even 30% of WTs players away then that could be bad and we can all say Gaijin deserved it for not listening and putting their eggs in the wrong basket.

This is a game that could have it all but refuses to.

do you realize that that games has been in steam for years and is only played by a few hundred people?, extremely immersive and realistic games are niche games, they are not popular.

Btw if you want a more “immersive” ww2 experience you can play enlisted.

Prediction: GHPC will take no notable amount of players.
It is a slightly worse Steel Beasts, and Steel Beasts is crew training software not meant to simulate anything more than that.

I wish it luck, cause… less people own it than Isonzo currently, and that game had a slow launch.

Wrong again

No game starts popular but if somebody thinks they can do War Thunder better then there is nothing to stop them doing that. WoT has faults ,WT has faults so if somebody wanted to analyse the good and bad of both and make a new game to steal the combined players of both games then they would be very rich indeed.

I’ve noticed the core of the game hasn’t changed for like the last 10 years. Not one complete rework of the game since then. They still use the same assets they did 10 years ago, maps didn’t change, the only thing they reworked was the game’s engine. At most they add new assets for new stuff, like new airfield asset.
