1.The JDAM is useless on the F-15C at least because it does not have a targeting pod. Could we see a much improved, more detailed map in which we could input some coordinates (ping a spot) and toss a JDAM in the general direction of the designated spot. JDAM are already kinda useless in GRB so this does not have to be taken in consideration while balancing CAS in GBR.
2. Potential buddy-lasing integration. Could be cool if you could do that with a teammate at your choice and his.
3. The choice to multicrew an aircraft with you squad. Self explanatory.

We shouldn’t limit CAS ordonance/capabilities in GRB. We could just limit the number of aircraft in the air. Same goes for SPAA.
Naw, no limits for SPAAs. That would quickly cause problems in lower tiers.
Higher tiers limit. You can’t put a limit of 3 planes per team when there are like 4 or 5 spaa’s in the enemy team. That was the idea
Lower tiers is manageable
I would like to see CAS capabilities limited, not improved. I wouldn’t go as far to say I want it removed but severely limited.

I don’t care about ground. We need more missions designed with aircraft in mind for ARB.
You could limit that in ground
what would help if there were strike missions or bigger maps where ground pounding is possible with out having to doge 20 missiles and 3 planes guns just so you can kill 3 ground targets for 60 points.
HARM is my guess for the next A2G addition. Been plenty of bits and pieces in datamines to hint at the introduction of SEAD related gameplay.
So thats things like AGM-88 or ALARM.
Im also hoping we might finally see CBUs at some point in the near future. That would add some rather interesting ungiuded weapons down to as low as 9.0 ish. But would still be effective at higher tiers.
Then hopefully sometime next year, we’ll see mmV seekers be added. Things like AGM-114L or Brimstone to enhance the A2G of new/existing Helis and aircraft.
TLDR. I want my Tornado Gr4 with 12x Brimstones and 4x ALARM with the options to drop a boat load of BL755s onto target if the oppotunity arrises

I really want more ASMs, Sea Eagles on the Sea Harrier’s, Tornado, Bucs, etc would all be really fun
i have to admit i do like the ASM’s. I really wish they would fix the AS.34 Kormoran. I bought the plane because of sim and wanted to shoot at boats but the missiles seem to be ghosts and nothing more that smoke generators.
I nearly bought it for the lower BR, better engines and the ASMs over the Gr1. But decided against it. But yeah, with how buggy they are, im kinda glad I havent yet.
(the issue is that they go for the centre of the boundary box and not the hull. You can see what I mean in this test I did with martels vs a naval target for a bug report https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ja7b0a8v-cU. Technically Martels are ASMs)
Because of course it’s a great idea to deny pilots the ability to CAS because someone is already in an aircraft, doing fuck all besides climbing to space and running away from AA

The biggest issue with this is how do you draw the line between CAS and CAP?
The Sea Harrier FRS1e is classed as a strike aircraft, but is my go-to for CAP at 10.3. CAP is always more effective than SPAA for dealing with CAS. Would be really annoying to find myself denied the ability to spawn in a fighter to go and deal with enemy CAS because too many teammates where in CAS aircraft that couldnt deal with enemy CAS.

Yea thats the big issue with non laser guided munitions, they go for the for the invisibale box rather that a structural hit. It drives me crazy. i was excited to go have fun shooting at boats and shot all of them at the enemy carrier and they just flew over the deck. I know it was just an event vehicle, but so many bug reports were just closed with no fix. Shooting from top down isnt effective ether as they are made to hit side. They seem to just not want to fix them.

Yes, there’s already an excellent balancing mechanic in the form of SP. If the goal is to simply reduce the number of aircraft in the air, increase their spawn cost. Better yet, decrease spawn cost for the aircraft themselves and increase cost for ordinance, so CAP is cheaper but CAS is more expensive.
The Strength/balancing of CAS is greatly impacted by its use in GRB and not really in ARB/ASB
Something like the Torando Gr4 with 18x Brimstones, barely anything in ARB/ASB. But in GRB could be way too OP to be added and so hasnt yet been added.

- He is saying JDAMs could be added to more things because they are basically useless in GRB at the moment and so can be added without worrying about GRB impact
- Aircraft shouldnt be limited in air modes like ARB or ASB because of how they might be used in Ground modes.
This is a sentiment I personally share and I would prefer to have something like the Tornado Gr4 added with Brimstones but to not allow it to be used in GRB as CAS. So that I can finally get to use them in ASB, my main gamemode. WAY too many aircraft are nerfed in performance because of GRB and not ARB/ASB balancing
Yep, CAP should be so much cheaper than CAS and also the Sea harrier really should be classed as a naval fighter not strike aircraft.
