Just because this game isn’t ready for, lets say, most modern IR missiles (like IRIS-T) on aircraft, doesn’t mean said aircraft should be getting fakes.

Terrible comparison since we dont have 5th gen IR missiles on airplanes but we do have brimstones. If the game is not ready for MMW guidance then those shouldnt be in the game at all. The current version is just as fake as an IR guided one but the IR guided one would at least portray the real brimstones main selling point which is FnF. Giving Brimstones IR guidance is in a similar realm to the Hammers being able to lock on tanks from further out since Gaijin doesnt want to implement LOAL

There’s nothing alleged about the seeker being fake on the kh-38MT. It’s fake. Never went beyond the mockup stage and is overperforming its own early marketing brochure by an absurd amount.

All they’re asking for is the same treatment for other nations which seems completely fair and reasonable.

There is no brimstone version that can only use laser guidance so according to your “fake is fake” its still fake even if its closer to the real thing.

Hammers actually had an IR seeker.

But they cant point lock a moving tank in the ranges it can in game. It can only do that, because Gaijin doesnt want to add LOAL. The same reasoning can be applied to the Brimstones seeker, they would be fake but their functionality would mirror its real life capabilities more despite Gaijins unwillingness to add certain features.

Almost like the community isn’t one person but rather a couple hundred thousand people all with differing ideas and opinions on how things should be in game, and therefore will always have conflicting post and forum idea’s going. It’s also like things can change, point and case the R2Y2’s when they were added were pretty much the only vehicles at the time that were entirely paper vehicles, which was a big deal to the community back then, but now times have changed and paper projects being put in the game isnt so uncommon which means the community no longer really saw a reason for the R2Y2 to be removed for being a paper airplane.

But hey maybe that’s all a stupid silly idea that people are different and things change with time.
