Copypaste/bias is ridiculous

just imagine if three trees all had the same model of centurion, or if four nations all had F4 phantoms, or if FIVE nations had ZSU 57-2, or if four nations had Vickers E/T26 variants (other than the country of origin lol), or if NINE nations had shermans. It would be such a mess and they playerbase would either be incredibly tired of it or completely boogaloo

almost every nation other than the USSR has major holes in their tech trees, especially for self propelled anti aircraft vehicles, that should take priority over the USSR having a different SPAAG for every BR notch

Lucky for us most dont.

I want the development time to be used in areas that need it more.

Your post acts as if it takes equal amounts of time to research all vehicles ever made when it doesn’t.
A Sherman is a google search.
Type 10 is a national archives dig… in Japan.
Most+ Soviet vehicles, even prototypes, are an Internet search… in Russian, and an Internet search none-the-less.
Whereas many American prototypes are a national archives dig; Nicolas Moran AKA The Chieftain noted his hours of national archives visits for his book “Can Openers”.

I did not say another vehicle had to go to America or Japan. If you read my earlier reply you would know that I want the time to be used for an IFV or a low tier SPAA. A high tier IFV eg BMP-3 Dragoon would be more appreciated by me then a lazy Shilka clone.

Try to find any domestic SAM for Italy yourself first, which is not a system needed at least two vehicles.

More or less the same for all except Russia and China.

That’s also because Moran’s got the Youtube and the money and time to even spend digging around. Most of us aren’t so blessed. But we can as a collective dig stuff up, and ensure it’s vetted properly.

SPAA that could be added now from 10.0-11.7:

  • B1 Draco - If the OTOMATIC was a viable 11.0-11.3 SPAA, with an 8km range (at least) guided munition
  • Polyphem - Think ADATS but with a max range of 30km
  • B1 ADATS - ADATS on a Centauro B1

SPAA that would at minimum be 11.7:

  • Grifo - A CAMM-ER launcher through the EMADS system, so Gaijin could copy-paste it to Britain in the form of the Land Ceptor
  • SAMP/T - Uses Aster 30 Block I (but could be an earlier variant or the Aster 15 for balance’s sake), and could be added assuming it has an emergency maddog firing mode (similar to the SLAMRAAM). This could also be copy-pasted into the French tech tree.

Can be added, but it wasn’t finished, so unlikely. Plus it isn’t really better than OTOMATIC, depends on DART performance of course, but it doesn’t look like promising + no search radar.

This one is rather questionable, so far I’ve only seen a truck carrying missiles. There are some claims that it can be used separately, but I haven’t seen any evidence.

It’s just a proposal.

These are also part of bigger systems which need multiple vehicles.

A guided munition is better than none, though. Plus having a 8-10km range is much better than the ~5km max range (for near-stationary helicopters) that the OTOMATIC has.

From what I’ve seen all it needs is the truck and a tablet/computer mounted within the vehicle or in the hands of one of the crew in the vehicle (the Zachlam Tager already has the first option in the game).

Both parts were completed, just not mated together into a single vehicle.

The Grifo does not need multiple vehicles, due to the truck’s storage space EO/IR sensors can be added that can let it act as an independent unit.

I mentioned SAMP/T under the assumption it can be fired maddog like an AMRAAM, which is how the SLAMRAAM would be added in game if Gaijin doesn’t implement stationary spawn radars/AWACS.

I’m Hungarian.

I will not elaborate much because it is politics, but I recommend spending some time reviewing my country’s mainstream news outlets and history of actions taken recently within the EU.

Hungary certainly goes against the authoritarianism the EU likes to press on countries, especially on Russian and Belarussian visas recently. not that its appropriate to discuss here, politics is lame everyone gets angry and not what they want and isn’t worth our breath. But it does show a closer tie to Russia than gaijin may want people to notice.

I do want to visit Hungary one day. Budapest looks to be one of the most beautiful cities in europe
