This event could induce more player year round activity and provide a bigger incentive to get premiums of all ranks / constant premium account.
It’d also make some more sales on the removed GE premiums, so a tiny bit extra there.
on the premium part, yes it is certain, as you said it would take both GE and FreeRP (i’ll go with “FRP”).
but to any other vehicules, players like me (13 years in game), doesn’t requires to buy anything, as we’ve accumulated an enormous amount of FRP throughout the years, while already grinded most Techtrees we were interested into
so we could buy a lot of FRP event vehicules we missed, and still give no money for it
→ no premium account, no GE, nothing.
and the amount you’ve proposed, will blocks recent players to have any profits from such sales → pushing up further the hatred of new vs old players (which is kinda a thing for players under lvl 30,… somehow)
I don’t believe really new players should be able to easily obtain these vehicles. This is more an event to reward players who have been playing for quite some time already with the ability to get older vehicles and futureproof the newer players who dedicate their time to get one of them.
My point about newer players in the post, is that they will know that eventually they can get one, and not feel like they will never get a single vehicle cause they never come back, y’know?
Edit- I know that veterans right now would get a big influx of them on the first time this event would run, but that’s understandable, since we have been playing a long time and have devoted quite a bit of time to this game already. It would be a fair reward to get some cool stuff we didn’t get before it’s removal.

Good idea.
I’d add the ability to recycle CRPs like we can do with orders, wagers, boosters and discounts on vehicles. Use a minimum of 10k CRPs and let it roll.
They could also add the ability to win decorations or camos in addition to the current options.
I’d also like the ability to discount the GE cost for those camos that can only be attained through GE by using CRPs. X amount of CRPs reduces the camo by 50%.

Imagine working hard in an event to get a rare vehicle - then a year later they give it out freely… big kick in the bollocks if you ask me.
I have 85 million convertible RP - why would I ever do an event? I would just buy everything…

It doesn’t benefit gaijin in any way. People already have insane stockpiles of Convertible RP. Values of like 40 000 000 mentioned by you are unobtainable in any reasonable amount of time from scratch, so it’s still outside of reach for new players, but for people who gathered their stockpiles for years it is pretty much nothing.
Instead of that i’d implement a system that allows you to use convertible RP as normal RP for free, but with a worse conversion rate.
Not only will it solve the issue of this currency being useless, but also entirely get rid of the stock grind issue.
Let’s say that for free you could exchange 500 - 1000 convertible RP into 1 standard RP.
Old non event removed vehicles should be simply brought back alongside the maus, but maybe with a limitation of 1 vehicle of choice per year.

tbh? i think its a good idea with transfer these usless points to a dream vehicle like 279 etc when new players cant get it (now costs 1k+ euro so gl) This will also give other people motivation to play more and more. Of cours with certain limits. 1 vehicle for 1-2 yr and a serious high price.
Lol, it call fair for players who don’t own the Maus anyway. You expect everyone has plenty of free time grinding special verhicles like Maus during event? I’m not mention about spending real money or not because it has nothing do with topic and it your choice how to spend your money.
Convertible RP needs some kind of rework because I think for most of the players it’s useless.
I actually won the Korea War medal yesterday and received 1k of CRP. Yay. 😑. We need better rewards for achieving medals or the rank of distinction but that’s a different thread.
I’d like to be able to recycle CRP like we can do with boosters, wagers and discounts. The recycle center was a good move by gaijin, just would like to see them expand on it.

You just put 1 RP into it and it stays available to you forever.

Do you read first before typing the answer. I’m answering about the previous event 10th anniversary where you need gathering 350k mission points for getting Maus and not the event now where you can get the Maus playing one battle with rank 5 verhicle.
I guess you are the one who has to read.
Maus event has worked exactly the same for the past 3-4 years at the very least, probably more.
It was always just one battle.
