Look im a proud Dane and at one point it was all under rule of our glorious Queen Margaret so i know my history lol. Besides Kalmar union perfectly represents what the tree in warthunder should be. If Denmark goes anywhere but sweden im leaving lmao

Under our current allience they are all 5 nordic countries are in NORDEFCO, literally Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland are all a part of it.
If you are gonna call a tree “Commonwealth of Nations” people are gonna expect ALL vehicles operated by Commonwealth nations to go there.
Same goes for the Levant one.
The Scandinavia, or as I now know better fitting Kalmar Union one would be the only one that could work because the likeliness of a nation from that region being added to a tree outside that region is pretty much nil.
Realistically it should be NORDEFCO lol, i say Kalmar Union cause im biased towards Danish rule lmao

Just tryna say that it would be the only tree that could realistically be renamed to not be a national, but rather a regional/union/allegiance/whatever tree.

China shouldn’t get the Abrams if Thailand doesn’t get the VT-4. Honestly the unified China tree is more cursed than the Japanese & Thai tree.
It would be a huge double standard and that looks like what they are poised to do.
Unified Korea is bad as well. They are repeating the same mistakes.
Although I am all for sub trees being added to Israel. I think they are doing it to avoid fixing bugs and to avoid adding the unique Israeli vehicles the tree deserves.

I mean ill take Kalmar Union lol, not like we hate each other, well aside from poking fun at the swedes but thats mainly cause we all mess with each other.

That’s the thing, there is no other name you could give to the British tree that would make sense (other than Great Britain, of course).
It’s the British tree, it’s called Great Britain ingame and it’s the home of British vehicles and those of the South African and Indian subtrees.
If you want a good solution for national/main vs subtree issues, here’s the best solution we currently have:
