So lets add SK and NK tech tree, till there was war, if not then what is difference from China and Singapore?
thing is that, china has many variety and domestically produced vehicle, they also have taiwan sub tt
they dont need another sub tt being singapore
does china need a leopard, an abrams(gulp. taiwan having M1A2T) or more western equipment? They have huge variety compare to SK and NK
SK is basically Japan TT in a nutshell, they dont have lots of vehicle(BUT i am not sure of this)
NK is a decent addition as a SUB TREE to SK
and if war being an issue then you might need to ask why gaijin add polish vehicle into german tree
Still just a bandaid on a festering problem that is only going to get worse the more that is added to it.
They really need to rework the whole progression system.
Maybe make it based on vehicle lineage and development rather than nation-state. Instead of factions, you have 5 trees of the different vehicle classes, and in each one you have each model and submodel grouped together.
Do away with factions in the MM for random battles since they aren’t historical anymore anyway. Use vehicle lists like in current Sim, WWM, and EC for more historical lineups and matches.
yes I know, never happen.
There is more than enough sufficient content (on both sides) to warrant a full TT - besides the majority of positive feedback, a Korea TT has always been a popular idea as far as I can tell.
I personally don’t see the point in the criticism that I’ve seen here today.
There’s 1159 replies and I can’t read them all to see where the thread went, so here’s my opinion on post #1;
- Great that you guys took on board the feedback (some would call it backlash) regarding the Singapore vehicles to China statement, and were willing to start again from the planning stage.
- Not great that you’re planning to split Singapore between multiple tech trees, this has previously been a significant point of contention (see; Canada).
- Greece & Cyprus for Israel frankly makes no sense at all. While it’s difficult to add Greece as a minor nation with restricted options for TT growth, a combined Turkish & Greek tech tree (however controversial it may be for them to be combined) or some sort of East Balkan tree would make more sense in my opinion. If implemented, hopefully this will not simply be used as a way to copy & paste stock BLUFOR equipment into the Israeli tree. I would suggest that Israeli captured equipment be added for now (plenty of Rank I and II available), with Egypt as a personal favourite subtree candidate.
- Good to hear that you’re focusing on domestic Chinese and Pakistani equipment for the China tree. Don’t let the naysayers dissuade you from putting the M1A2T in the China tree, it’s a shared PRC/ROC tree and the T is a service vehicle.
- United Korean TT is a very strong choice, implementing DPRK equipment in particular will be a challenge but I wish you the best of luck. Very good avenue for the game and for breaking into the SK gaming market.
It’s really cool to get this much information in an official post, looking forward to seeing what you guys produce in the upcoming double update period which I can only imagine is busy as hell every year.
well then im fine with wtv
No. No merkava buff.
Well as of the latest datamines, they are actually nerfing the Merkavas further…
merkava is gonna be in 11.0 in 2028 and the french AMX is gonna be 14.0 in 2028
There are so many Turkish players, and there are even voiceovers in the game. It’s very disappointing that there hasn’t been any development regarding Turkish trees or Turkish vehicles.
So let me get this right, Gaijin heard our feedback about sub trees and did THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE?! Many of us have repeatedly stated that one operator nation split among different tech trees is completely unacceptable. The community has provided a perfectly viable alternative in the nation folders suggestion. But I guess we’re doubling down on making lineups unplayable for certain groups, and research to take 2-3x longer for certain groups.
Dear Developers,
The passionate demand for the addition of the Turkish Tech Tree to War Thunder has become a dominant and trending topic on the forums, especially among Turkish players. This long-standing request, which has been ongoing for years, must now be seen as the clear voice of a community awaiting a definite answer and action.
Turkey’s historical and modern military vehicle inventory would add unique diversity and excitement to the game. We are asking for a dedicated, authentic, and independent tech tree, not sub-trees or copies within other nations.
Please do not overlook this community trend. Hear the voice of a significant portion of your player base and finally make this massive request a reality. We want the Turkish Tech Tree now!
Greece and Cyprus vehicles in Israel tech tree XDDD
Well, that looks like a pretty decent update coming, and the plans look better than they did not so long ago, so cheers I guess
Yeah I did not expect that lol
Looks inside.
It’s all copy paste until top tier.
But it has different seats you can’t even see in-game and a different name so it’s not copy paste right?
XD lol
Australia and Canada are not subtrees.
Cyprus, Pakistan and Singapore are commonwealth nations as well, but not subtrees of Britain. Cyprus going to Israel, Singapore being split (like Australia and Canada) and Pakistan already being a subtree of China throws a massive wrench into the idea of renaming Britain to “Commonwealth of Nations”.
Could end up being a problem in the future with Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Jordan and most importantly Turkey being part of that region.
That’s the only one that would work tbh
That is your own opinion, furthermore, it’s irrelevant to the argument being made here.
The core point remains that these vehicles are tied to the Soviet Union not to Great Britain. As such, their inclusion in the Soviet tech tree would be far less anachronistic or immersion-breaking compared to having them in the British tree.
I highly disagree with the notion that the T-90S and MiG-21 Bison / MiG-21-93 aren’t unique enough. Both vehicles represent significant developments/modifications ( especially true for the Bison / 21-93 ) that warrant their inclusion in the Soviet tech tree.
Technically Finland isn’t Scandi. Its nordic, only us(Denmark), Norway, and Sweden are technically Scandi
