We are not talking about some 99% squads, we are talking about very concrete squads with a well documented performance in one specific match. So don’t try to construct something that was never there.
It’s useless, they are not focusing on the issue at hand and are taking it personally. They are getting offended rather than acknowledging the problem.
They are too focused on “yours” or “mine” etc etc.
You know what your issue is.Every post made by a veteran over the last 4 years saying goodbye I am leaving the game.Guess what ? All you smug clowns laughed and waved goodbye and now you have only idiots and newbies to play with and you are bitching about it.Enjoy your new playmates you earned them.More cannon fodder for you super experts 🙄
Wow, you and your team got destroyed by one of these rare 4 man squads that actually tryhard. Those don’t happen that much and from my memory I have faced or being in team with that kind of squad less then 10 times this year.
It sounds like you’re facing these super squads constantly and that really doesn’t seem possible how few 4 man squads actually there are when playing alone. Of course you face 4 man squads lot more if you also play one, but then you can’t complain them destroying your squad.
No, you got destroyed by your lack of reading comprehension. I wasn’t even in that battle.
A squad of players coordinating over voice chat (which not all squads you encounter do) has much more potential to impact the match than any solo player. Target identification, baiting an enemy together, or one disabling the gun and the other then going for the kill - don’t even get me started on what happens when one person in the squad gets in the air! Suddenly you have near perfect battle information.
“Don’t peek out now, wait, there’s X tank on mark”.
The fact that squads can have this massive impact doesn’t mean they always do. Just like you can be in a full downtier and goof around.
There is however one indisputable fact - by playing in a four man squad, you were matchmaked (matchmade?) against an enemy team that also has a four man squad. That has implications.
In any case, OP’s assertions about player quality have much more fundamental epistemic issues than that. Even if you assume the squad element is completely irrelevant, all of this still remains unaddressed:
I patiently await an answer.
Where is the matchmaking rule that having a 3 or 4-man squad on one side means there must be one on the other?
I’ve been in plenty of games where one team is full of squads and the other has zero.
Pretty normal and less about competency. The problem is often attributed to the kill cam, common in other games like COD, H&G etc. When someone is killed they generally respawn and go immediately back to their old position or try to find the player that killed them because they have an idea of where they are or have a need to regain whatever ego they lost. They end up just feeding kills because they lemming back. Most matched I end of killing the same players over and over on a flank.
Moreover a lot of players have a particular “spot” they like to play from and in most cases players will literally spawn and go to the same places they always go on maps where they find some manner of success and do not know how to play other areas of the maps.
There really isn’t one. Game tries to balance teams by having same number of squads, but most of the time it just gives up. These are the cases where for whatever reason it puts all the squads to one side. Might be coding or something that it haywires and puts all squads to one side and not a single one to another.
There is also clearly some kind of timer where it gives up on trying to find another squad. It might be 5min queue time, but after that it pretty much puts 4 man squad into match as only squad.
I have a screenshot showing 2 4-man squads on one side and zero squads on the other.
I was in the squad and we queued almost instantly. I don’t think MM bothers balancing squads.
Like I said this might be some coding issue that because other squad had queue so long that game gives up on balancing and throws only squads to one side.
And you’re correct that sometimes those one sided squad matches are instant, but when playing with few friends it seems to be more common have to wait 5-7 minutes even during prime time until match starts just to see your team having 7 squads and other side non. :D
What nation are you trying to bring?
When trying to bring 3 major nations in the same queue, of course it struggles to find a game. But when queuing 3-man with russia / germany yesterday on EU, it never took more than 2 minutes for 4.7, which is about average for playing off primetime.
No one gets 5-7 minute queues anymore unless they’re playing naval.
We like to do US/Brit or Then full Germany. We are well aware about crossqueue taking longer and we really don’t want to create mix matches by taking several nations. At tier II-III we constantly got around 5min queues when bringing full US or German lineups. Most of the time game didn’t put any big squads to enemy team.
My friends and I do, quite frequently, if we try to play three nations. Classic example would be Germany, USA and Israel, but also at 5.7 trying to play Germany, Italy and China (or replacing France for either) gave us similar issues.
Our informal rule among ourselves is pretty much “two nations at a time, no more”. The only three-nation combination that is somewhat reliable is GER-IT-JAP, though hilariously even that takes a pretty long time occasionally.
All of this is relevant to EU server, usually in the early or late afternoon, or the evening after 9pm.
