Community competency

While I completely agree with your sentiment, this isn’t entirely exclusive to War
Thunder; it’s prevalent in pretty much any sort of team PvP style game you could play, it’s maybe just a little more noticeable and punishing in War Thunder. It’s not uncommon at all to see similar things in say Battlefield, where half of your team has like 6 kills but 30 deaths…and you actually stop and look around and realize 2/3rds of your team sitting around the edges of the map playing the sniper class on an urban map. There isn’t really any fixing it because most players in any game typically aren’t very good, it’s just a little compounded by some of War Thunders other problems like stock grind, limited spawns, etc.

oh before you go - dont forget the enemy 4 man squad are “bullies” :)

Ad hominem is the clearest way to admit defeat.

War Thunder is a solo game unless you are in an active squad with Headphones.

So long as I am focusing and doing my best, I don’t care what team I am up with. A poorer team may well bag me more kills as opposed to a great team taking all the kills and moving away from me because of my vehicle choice.

That is the bottom line. I may be no expert, but I know who to blame for a bad game. Me and only me, CAS being the only exception where I may call time to a pointless game.

I can see people are content with this kinda gameplay.
Cool.
people like 1 death leavers and the reason for them to 1 death leave.

The multiple threads on forum say otherwise but ok.

Guess the meta is die 3 times without doing anything.

I guess its time to troll my team then, i shall make it my priority to not do anything in any given battle and harm my team in the process.

Stay tuned for screenshots,

So you never have a shit game?

After all - why not, hindering the team or being utterly useless is the meta now and god forbid you dont agree with it.
When we lose, i take no accountability, its the people at the top of leaderboard who actually tried who are responsible and should have tried harder :)

As the least competent warthunder player i can confirm.

So, you went out with your T72 and only got one kill, but you complain about the rest of your team? Is that the point you are making here?

Xray got 4 kills for one on the other team I presume he is laughing at how bad you are?

Sorry If I am missing the point here.

huh?
No, the initial screenshot is of when i took a 3.7 into 7.0 by accident but still placed better than 60% of team with a single kill in a pz4-j.

The screenshot above is the lineup i will intentionally take out to hinder the team, then blame loss on the guys at top who should have tried harder…

I sometimes rage about the teams too … but I do it in my own house and that is the place where it should stay. Yeah there are players who suck and sometimes it hits hard. But does this here change anything? I don’t think so. Those players who are bad don’t care about it or don’t want to know. We cannot make up for years of neglected education and a society which is focused on “I’m the coolest guy on earth”.
Here in Sweden we have something called “Jante”.

  1. You’re not to think you are anything special.
  2. You’re not to think you are as good as they are.
  3. You’re not to think you are smarter than they are.
  4. You’re not to imagine yourself better than they are.
  5. You’re not to think you know more than they do.
  6. You’re not to think you are more important than they are.
  7. You’re not to think you are good at anything.
  8. You’re not to laugh at them.
  9. You’re not to think anyone cares about you.
  10. You’re not to think you can teach them anything.

It can be misunderstood fast. But for me it means just … take yourself back and let others do their stuff. If they ask you for help, help. Otherwise live and let die.

Damn - god i hate these players, why cant they carry me harder? They are the worst, shame on them.
If i want to be useless, then i will, its someone else’s problem…
Then - when someone dies, and looks at leaderboard and they see that myself and 4/5 others have died and left - they will think “well im not staying in for a blatant lost battle because of these guys and paying repair costs” - so they leave.
THEN - the people who decide to stay and actually play, end up losing out because majority left.
The thing is - in this instance - I was the initial culprit.
I died many times without doing anything- so did a few others.
Other players leave after their first death because my and a few others useless actions.
Ultimately the people actually putting in effort pay the price, they fight, they die, they respawn, they respawn and they still lose and pay repair costs.

The point im making is that MY ACTIONS EFFECT OTHERS IN MY MATCH.

Could I suggest you concentrate on your own game rather than try and be the self-appointed community leader for War Thunder? Might be less frustrating.

Seriously, if teamwork matters so much why are you not in a Squad with Discord?

If you are in a great team with top people, do you send all the boys and girls 100GE each?

I mean really what is it you are saying?

Show us all the screenshot where you went into the game and got destroyed by a shell from out of the mist by a tank you could not even see then came out again and got destroyed by CAS. Two deaths no kills. Are you somehow immune from that?

It seems like you are trying to sell us all your Godlike status.

We all have some amazing games and some poor games.

Whoever jumps onto the forum in a fit of supreme happiness to tell us all what an amazing time they just had on War Thunder?

I guess a single kill makes me better than most then.
Might have to tone it down a bit.

A couple things:

You were in a squad whichs helps alot when it comes to communication and teamwork. Sometimes you have good matches and have bad matches, and hose players had bad matches.

Another reason could be that the other team was better than your team. The other team also coudl’ve had good communication and teamwork, while your team didnt

A single matches performance isn’t enough to make an assumption about players.

its not about the loss.
It is about the fact that with a single Panzer IV- J at 3.7 WHILE playing at 7.0 - - - - -i can achieve more than majority.

A single kill equates to more than what 60% of the team did. I also died 3 times.

That is the issue.

I had a team so bad that they had lost the game before I could even trundle out in My 88-flak truck on initial spawn. I was still stuck halfway up the hill in Japan when I took out six of the would-be spawn campers to come top of my team. Works all ways. A bad team can be a blessing.

You kindly forgot to mention that you were part of a 3-squad, while the rest was alone and up against a good 4-squad.
Everyone who has played in a squad knows the difference.

The majority is a sample size of 1 match. You don’t know if those players just had bad luck or a single bad match.

What I am trying to say is that everyone has good performances and bad perforamnces, you had a good one, while your team performed poorly.

but i did not. I would not count a single kill and 3 deaths and a loss as a good match…
In fact i did terrible.
i took the wrong lineup and personally done bad.

But that single kill was enough.
