AIM-9X is far superior to everything in-game. R-73 is no where close to AIM-9X levels of performance.

The stability other missiles have right now make them superior.
And MICA-EM has the superior radar guidance.

Can we expect to see more bombers being added to the game, and for the bomber gamemode to matter again in AIR RB? Many of us bomber mains since 2013 have been excited for future prop and jet bombers being added, but so far have been disappointed with only strike jet aircraft being added.

Tbf, the 9M having a lot more limited kinematic potential also likely means its being fired in situations where its a lot more likely to hit in the first place.

For the most part, as long as a player has flares and knows of the enemy’s position, a good player is unlikely to die to an IR missile, unless they make a mistake, such as a momentary lapse of judgement leading to them leaving chaff only on when approaching a merge for example. Pre-flaring the WEZ just about guarantees survival. As such, the Magic II and R-73, being dogfight missiles with very high off-bore performance pushes them towards being a pressure tool in dogfights where the opponent KNOWS they’re going to be fired or could be fired, while the 9M is, as you pointed out, more of an ambush tool being fired against enemies that dont know you’re there. Its also borderline worthless vs jets with MAWS flown by a half decent player like the M2K.

Its also really not talked about often but the AAM-3 is just a better 9M, trading a small bit of range for significantly more maneuverability.

I appreciate the fact that they are finally acknowledging the issue, but the fact of the matter is that this has already been the case for almost 2 years, starting with introductions of ka52 and other top tier helicopters, before that it was the mig27k.
It is quite problematic imo that the solution to this issue according to the devs is to essentially increase power creep back to ground vehicles (which it kind of should be since it called GRB for a reason), instead of addressing the overall issue which is that it is too easy to get access to a fully loaded strike fighter in the game mode. Getting 1 singular cap and assist should never be enough to spawn a fully loaded helicopter with spikes or vikhr’s. This is then reinforced by the fact that if you do even remotely OK, you will be able to spawn another aircraft even if you do die, same story with the strike aircraft/fighter combo. Fighter should be heavily penilzed in sp cost if they choose to bring a heavy ground load imo. This would atleast make the game mode more manageable and focused on ground forces.

Sigh, and once again our pleads for a revision of the vehicle addition standards have been ignored, intended for a more communal and diverse game experience.

Of course I am refering to the Three German Tanks (Panther II, Flakpanzer 341 and Tiger II 10.5cm kwk).

Q: Could it be arranged that a satisfactory and inclusive solution or middle ground is to be found for historically controversial vehicles as the three German Tanks mentioned above, to have a place in the Hangars of all players, Young and old (again)?

Helicopters don’t matter cause all but the F&F ones are pointless spawns when SPAA exists.
Helicopter problem was solved over 5 years ago for ground RB. Mig-27K was added over 2 years after ADATS.
Before helicopters was nothing.

Mig-27K also didn’t have glaring issues cause no one knew how to CAS [even today people die to Pantsir with superior air to ground weapons] and it doesn’t have thermals so it can’t see.
CAS has only been truly OP since 2022 starting with laser guided munitions using a thermal targeting pod. A true 16km range weapon while the 27K was stuck with the mk1 eyeball.

Also multirole aircraft are penalized by bringing ground ordnance via spawn points.

We for sure haven’t ignored anything, but have answered several times in detail that we don’t plan to return this unhistorical vehicles and the reasons for that.

Current that has not changed and we do not have any plans to return them for now. They were introduced for balancing reasons a very long time ago when the game was a very different beast to what it has become since. The reasons for them being needed no longer remained after continuous evolutions of the games technology and eras.

All good, just requesting for such plans to be seriously made/considered and discussed, even if only internally and without the knowledge of the Community. I am not expecting a miraculous return over night.

Not to cherry pick but its really bugging me in specificly the “They are introduced” when it should probably be "They were introduced

The planned additions to the player cards looks great! However, I really do miss the feeling of being a decorated war veteran when looking at my medal ribbons. I really hope that’s what you mean by “medalist”.

Dear gaijin
I am glad for your response to the players’ feedback. This picture is my opinion, and I think it would be perfect. The combination of new and old is acceptable to everyone. I hope this can be achieved, and I hope the staff can know that for us players who have been playing for many years, these numbers are important from a certain perspective. Even new players can gradually see the results of their efforts.

If this is the case why are the kronshtadt, Yak-141, and 2S38 in game? None of those vehicles are remotely accurate to their real life counterparts or just made up

With increasingly smaller maps, … great … not for me the straight lines, die 3 times and leave, brainless map.

Naval has different standards for vehicle implementation as we have already explained due to the large discrepancy between nations ship building. However these standards only apply to naval. Tanks do not have this issue.

Both the 2S38 and Yak-141 were real vehicles with functioning prototypes.
