I mean, looking at the image they had for Vehicle Collector which shows how many vehicles you have unlocked for each nation, i would assume the Spaded vs Non–Spaded vehicles will be show there like before.
Ace of spades could also be the amount of aces earned in ARB, could also be amount of vehicles spaded in total, who knows.
Well, they some time ago implemented a 3rd kind of Ammo preset.
Next to Rifle Ammo (small ammo pictures, no shrapnell upon penetration)
And cannon ammo (big ammo picture and shrapnell)
They have added “small caliber” also big ammo picture but massively reduced Shrapnell cone.
Initially this was to nerf the modern 20mm autocannons with around 1000rpm, such as the Italian Rat car R3, however they implemented it also on some other ground cannons including the 2 cm Pzgr L’Spur (ApI-T) making it absolute garbage.
The idea of introducing a new mechanic but leaving it to the player to decide if they want it in game or not is awesome, I just wish we could have an option to disable more mechanics such as disabling the orange smoke for artillery in ground, it really kills the feeling for me
Soviets don’t have the best dogfight missile in the game.
France has the best dogfight missiles in the game, Japan in 2nd, and AIM-9M might as well be R-73 equivalent.
Oh, i have no idea, I’m a volunteer with extremely limited behind the scenes info. Game Masters deal with chat- and name-bans so we only have access to things relevant to be able to handle those. We don’t get any insight into development nor any warning of what is to come as announcements. We’re just players like everyone else when it comes to everything that isn’t chat- and name-bans :)
mica will do pretty much the same thing yeah, but fr for every successful hobs archer shot there are probably about 3-4 that just spin out. Hell i’ve seen the r73 go beyblade mode from a completely straight cold aspect shot quite a few times. They certainly have their moments where the stars align and they function as intended but its a novel occasion when they do tbh. But most of all the main way to stop getting smoked by archers like this is to actually be on the ball with propper preflaring as well as increasing the amount of countermeasures u dispense if its been launched in time. With ample flares the archer will miss very very often - sure sometimes u will just get unlucky and it will nail you anyway but thats just how it is same with basically every missile at top tier now.
ASRAAM & 9x are most certainly not NEEDED rn to counter current missile in game, they are an entirely new generation of missile and vastly more scary - currently all that is needed is for people to upskill their defensive techniques along with trying to maybe get some perspective of playing with the other side’s weaponry. When those missiles come its going to be a whole new ball game and the r73 will be the least of everyone’s worries.
The new player card is a huge downgrade, is confusing, takes up too much space while giving too little info…etc
I know you all wont revert it so I ask what others have asked for too. Allow us to use the EDIT FUNCTION to RECREATE the old layout with the new cards.
In term of raw dogfight performances, R73 and Magic are the best.
in term of being useful in the average match, the 9M is the clear winner and it’s not even close. They can reliably hit a target going supersonic at 3.5km, are significantly harder to flare, and in sim are also straight up completely invisible.
