Nothing unusual, top tier matches tend to be like that, and on top of that few nations can keep 55% win rate values.

You understand that possibly both teams have US planes ,right?
If i have played games above 9.3 BR without US in both teams you can probably count them with one hand , the last month. If that is any i mean.
But that doesn’t mean teams have the same composition overall. Let’s say a game is 10.3 .
One team has 1x F8U-2 ,2x 21SMT and 1 J35XS as 10.3 , then 2xF-4C and 2xJ35D as 10.0 . 3x MiG 21S + 2x AV-8C and last 2 x F-104C +1x F-100D .
The other team has 2x A-10A (E) + 2x21SMT at 10.3 ,1x Mirage IIIC +1x F-104J + 2X Hunter F.58 as 10.0 , 2x Harrier Gr1 - 1x Harrier Gr3 - 2x T-2 at 9,7 and 2x China F-5 and 1x F-104A (US) at 9.3 .

Most games are … in that pattern. I’m telling the BR i’m playing now, i remember better the types i see and in what pattern.
In fact most players play US and USSR , so usually one of the 2 teams standard has both. Many times both teams have both and the rest is spreaded.
So, let’s not say “US teams” , “USSR teams” … It’s more likely, French teams , UK teams ,Chinese teams etc. Since US and USSR will be 85% in both sides.
EDIT: In Air i’ve played more or less every nation except China (bored to grind the whole tree of copy paste to get to indigenous) , up to one point. I’m not X main, i never was. Because some will start X main, Y main , V main…

In prop tier USA, I blame it on jets.
USA has a lot of super popular, well-known jets. (Their prop planes also take somewhat intuitive approaches to use well). So, people who only want their tomcats and eagles and other fancy things go “do I bother to learn energy fighting and get good at aiming a gun, or do I strap 3000 lbs of bombs onto my hellcat/corsair/p47, mow some lawn and bomb my way to top tier?”
When I played US ARB, I found most people did just that.
I made a reddit post titled as such (posted 9 months ago after I came back to wt after nearly a decade long break. For clarification, 19 minutes means 19 minutes remaining, so under 6 minutes:
Why can't my team ever climb? Whole team except for 1 bf109 who climbed with me was flying at like 500 meters. Meanwhile, the enemy had 5 yaks ready to meet us at 3.5 km. Whole team died before 19 minutes
This was the advice I was given on reddit:
Jets has mixed matchmaking when I play them in RB so idk about trends.
ASB props it feels fifty-fifty/even chance and I do actually see americans fly their planes as meant to be flown (whichever side has a voice chat squad wins tho).
ASB jets I don’t fly much, but based on forums and content creators I watch (Squishface) until the rafael/eurofighter US had very high win rates.
That’s the thing in Air RB. If you get crap teams , not only bad players …but bad combinations of vehicles as well, it doesn’t matter what nation you play.
Just goes to prove that MM in RB is utter garbage. If RB had equally mixed nation teams, like in Arcade, it would work much better.
This happens from time to time when one nation has too many players in queue, the matchmaker puts the same nation on both teams.
