The F-15C GE and Su-30SM are both 14.3, both of those are arguably sidegrades to the J-15T. However you do have a point regarding the J-10C and PoBIT.
In a more ideal world the AESA EFTs/Su-30SM2/Rafales move to 15.0, the F-15C GE/Su-30SM&MKM move to 14.7 (J-15T stays at 14.7) while planes like the F/A-18E&F/PoBIT/J-10C remain 14.3 (JAS39E either remains at 14.3 with no fixes or gets a whole bunch of the needed fixes and moves to 14.7).
INSANE MACHANICS MONTAGE GAMEPLAY
Nice job budy, You make the enemy team very happy.
EDIT:
Playing high is playing right; you need altitude to pressure the enemy team, you need altitude to have more energy to perform evasive maneuvers, and more energy for your missiles.
For top tier jets its quite essential to climb even if youre in an uptier or your jet isnt that good.
Multipathing is not fullproof, especially against FOX-3s or R-27ERs coming top down onto you. If you continuously multipath the entire game you give up the energy and altitude you could have used to pressure the enemy team with. Not to mention its quite difficult to notch missiles at such a low altitude. You also risk the getting clobbered by an IR missile launched from directly on top of you.
That being said i dont have the chinese tech tree grinded out. Mainly just the soviets and american tech tree. Slowly working on germany and israel i guess. 48 CMs is abysmal but at high altitudes you do have several options at your disposal such as aforementioned notching, bleeding the missile of its energy, etc etc while multipathing you rely on one unreliable mechanic.
I was just making an example of multipathing without any chaffs, if your plane has low chaff amount, as the J-15T or EF-2000 (stock), maybe dont stick at 3,000 m high. Not saying to never use chaff.
When i was grinding out the F-16A ADF that only have 45 Countermeasures with only 15 of those being large (so in a worse spot than the J-15T) i climbed to 5-7 km each game, even in uptiers to 14.3 and i did well for the most part. Of course i didnt climb straight towards the enemy, i climbed laterally but the point still stands.
Maybe its just a different playstyle ig idk. Also i dont find multipathing the entire game that fun either so i try to avoid it unless i absolutely need to multipathing to survive lol.
I mean
You are facing on average worse missiles with worse radars usually on worse planes too and I don’t remember anyone saying the F-16A was a peak 13.3 either
I mean you’re not wrong, but its not like your facing F-4Cs with AIM-7Ds.
The radars around this BR along with their missile and missile load are still competent.
Perhaps i shouldve put it that original post but i was moreso talking about uptiers to 14.3, where you do face those good airframes, ESA radars, R-77-1s, MICAs, AIM-120C-5/D, etc etc.
And by no means is 45 countermeasures enough for this BR and above, but its still workable as long as you position correctly and smartly.
