How do people bring the 435 up but forgetting that the ztz88s is also there while superior in pretty much every department lol there are already not making any sense putting these two in the same br

Maybe take a second to look at a tank before talking about it? No LRF, same darts as the T-62, effectively the same mobility as the T-62 (You’ll never notice the extra 5 kph or 0.5 hp/t).
Armor is similarly unimpresesive, able to defend against the handful of unfortunates firing AP/APHE in a downtier, but nothing else.
The only advantages it has are the 14.5mm on the roof, and a slightly faster turret traverse. Oh, and an optical rangefinder, for all the sniping you won’t be doing.
I have no earthly idea why Gaijin increased this thing’s BR. The T-62 was already unimpressive at 8.7, now this thing is apparently equal to the T-62M-1.

China 9.0 is absolutely jacked. Such a great lineup. Even have the AFT09 there to delete everything + WZ305 to clear the skies. Doesn’t get much better than that.

its hull is its weak spot. Its kinda badly armored + 105 deals little to no damage.
it has great survivability. Fuel tanks upfront that eat damage + magic UFP that can bounce many shots. Still not a competitor to 62M1 if you ask me but hey devs are just as idiotic with that balance as always.
That was not my experience with it. The hull corners will occasionally troll shots, but most people have no issue just clicking center mass, which is also where the fuel tanks aren’t.
Even then, due to how tiny the protected ammo rack is, there’s almost always going to be a pile of ammo in the back of the hull to catch any rounds that have their spall eaten by the fuel tanks. And, of course, if your enemy just aims anywhere remotely center mass, you’re just dead.
There is not a single 9.0 MBT I wouldn’t take over the 435, and quite a pile of 8.7 ones I’d happily take as well.

Well it wasnt my experience either. I had some rough time shooting down the 435 with L7 APFSDSes shooting both center mass, hull sides under turret, hull with 45* ect ect ect. And had same funny moments happening to me while playing that tank. I do firmly believe it has some great chances of survival, however not guaranteed either. Still its a good competitor for t-62, but not 62M1. tho id rather play 435 at 9.0 than Rise-P at 8.7
I’m still amazed to see how people don’t realize things are moved up to nerf them, so moving them up and then giving them buffs would nullify the BR increase.
3BM15 has some poor angled performance and definitely isn’t better than L23 unless you keep shooting at flat armor. L23 has better ricochet angles than both 3BM22 and 3BM15.
So only British mains aren’t brainless ?
You’d have a point if I were comparing those two with vehicles from major nations, but I’m not.
I think the penetration of this ammunition should be reviewed, since the difference compared to the DM33 is so extremely marginal that if its performance is real, the only difference would be that the DM63 would be cheaper to manufacture, which I doubt, so logically the devs have forgotten some parameter, hence the marginal difference with the DM33.

They changed 105mm DM23 and DM33 not so long ago so I wouldn’t be surprised if they forgot to change 105mm DM63.

The truth is that the ammunition and reloading time could be improved for all vehicles with the L7 cannon and thus be able to raise the Br a little more. For example, giving the M60 RISE and A3TSS the M833, a correct penetration to the DM63 and the Israeli and Swedish equivalent, giving them to the Leopard 1A5, the STRV 104 and 103C, the OFL 105 G2 for the AMX30B2 Brenus, etc.

Gaijin has accepted a report from Flame to remove L23 as it didn’t exist.
If this happens, the Cheiftain 900 and MK.10 would either have to go back to using APDS or be upgraded to the more potent (and real) L23A1
Well, they’ve put it as a suggestion, so either they’ll change it in five years, or what will probably happen is they’ll forget it in a drawer, or they’ll take a screenshot, put it with the other reports and turn it into toilet paper.
T-72 is itself undertiered though
It’s a good thing that these tanks are going up. They were by far the best 9.0s and imagine being in some unstabilized 8.0, say, a T-54 and fighting this tank with composite armour and LRF and 120mm darts, it was absolutely broken.

I’d say that plenty of our current 9.3s could go to 9.7 without an issue.

T-72A/M1 and ZTZ-96 for sure, and likely also the Olifant, KPZ-70, Magach 7, and TAM 2IP especially if it had its accurate ammunition
Okay, i swear it had a lrf. And i also thought there was a premium object thing as well… Fair enough i dont see why its 9.0 apart from the fact it is rather rapid. Most of the time i see them running the flanks with the light tanks or rushing the early caps to kill the light tanks who probably cant pen them (xm800s and such).
