Russian bias, at any BR and against any nation.
These prototype L23A1
There is no L23 it never existed
Pre service rounds were XL23E1 and are not accurate to the round we have in game
If it was accurate it would just be L23A1 but a little slower and heavier
There litterally is.
Read.
I have explained it before.
The Shell existed in SOME capacity, there are multiple training rounds left with their original markings, and even some L23A1s left with the adapted markings when they got retrofitted with the new W-Ni-Fe penetrators.
You can tell the Original L23 rounds that were upgraded, from the Later production L23A1, by the A1 mark being stamped on afterwards, spaced away from the original L23 marking

While the later production non refitted L23A1 had a custom stamp.

There why is there no A1? Or E1 if its XL23E1.
its just Something-23.

There has never been L23
It was always L23A1 there hasn’t been any other round
Except the program started in the late 1970s with the OG XL23/L23 using the SAME PENETRATOR ALLOY AS THE L15A5 ROUND.
FOI request proved that the only round for the L23 family is L23A1
There is no other round
Every round ends with a number and L23A1 was the first and last there can’t be anything before it
L15A1 to L15A5
L26A1
L27A1
L28A1 to L28A2
Any pre production round is XL23E1
Not a major thing as i tend to see 9.3 in these tanks most of the time anyway - however i do think giving the chieftain Mk10 and 900 a minor buff to compensate for the br increase is needed, slight acceleration increase and reload speed reduction would be great otherwise this could turn painful in full uptiers…
Upside is it won’t see 2s38’s at least.
Because that’s not how British L numbers work?
It’s always Ln₁An₂
Probably just a bad restoration, considering thats the only photo I ever see as evidence

good joke fella
Jokes aside - chieftains wield better ammunition, better aim speed and angles. The MK10 has better turret armor. But the 9.3 for them? Its a joke. The only two that have SLIGHT reasoning are Khalid and Mk10. But i dont believe they should be there.
Thats due to the player base not being… uhm, whats the word… Oh, retarded.
Sure, the mk10 has good armour, but its basically only usable on long range maps with hull down positions and at this rate none of those will be left if gaijin have their way. The hull can be penned by everything and the cupola allows anything with aphe to lol pen it so it really aint that hard to counter. Its one of the more balanced tanks at 9.0. The 900 is just retarded because how does an extra 100hp or so constitute almost an entire br jump from 8.7 to 9.3 when.
yeah basically that. Chieftains arent OP and arent bad, they are good as they are now. Why moving them? Its ridiculous
I never had a problem with Cent MK10 at 9.0, and I’ve played a lot of 9.0 games against them. It’s a strong tank in the right hands and will punish those who don’t play to its strengths. Seems balanced to me? Though, when Gaijin keep putting tanks like the Object435 up to 9.0, you can understand it a little. Conversely, you have absolutely jacked vehicles and lineups there still such as China’s entire 9.0 lineup (they even gave the TTS DM33 last year). So while I don’t think the MK10 will struggle at 9.3, I just don’t see the real need to do this in the first place.
Maybe Gaijin felt a bit strange moving the TTD down to 10.0, so they had to punish Britain at the same time.
Hull down MK10 can be trouble. For both the enemy (and their own team when they’re not moving forward and trying to help the team cap some points when their teammates are struggling). Glad I clipped this shot of me taking out a hull down boy who was quite close to nuke from hull down kill farming. Threading the needle to hit that weakspot.
