Chengdu J-10, History, Performance & Discussion

That’s an AL-31 ronaldo

well then get rekt

no ws10

WS-10B on J10C makes more sense than AL-41 on su30SM2

They are too lazy to make a new model for WS10B, at least they even dont made up a performance to make AL31 has the similar performance as the WS10 on J10C for now.

Gaijin just racism on Chinese

the only thing that dosent make sense on the su30sm2 is the radar

gaijin should have just added the su35

The model for it was literally datamined for DEV, just not implemented

So only gain Chinese stuff DEV version and the others recieve the made up version? If they want J10C remain like this, sure, but not at BR14.3, 13.7 seems more fair. I submitted an issue about that and NAB within an hour, the respond so quick and leave the others issue there just because I tried to let them know J10C is unplayable now.
Neither realistic nor fair game play is real in this game

Should’ve change the model into a J-10B if Gaijin just insist on having another AL-31 equipped version.

There seems to be a problem with the LS-6 (IR). I suspect a conflict between GNSS and IR. I tested it by launching an LS-6 (IR) at 25 km. The seeker correctly locked onto the target in IR, not GNSS, but the problem occurred at 9 km. It seems that despite the IR lock, the bomb completed its journey in GNSS, and at a range of 9 km, it reset its seeker to switch to IR. However, the target was no longer within its FOV, and the bomb did something strange: it started gaining altitude, passing the target and reaching a minimum speed of 275 km/h. I have the impression that on long journeys, the bomb flies in GNSS and then switches to IR. However, if you launch it too high, the target moves out of FOV, and the bomb is lost, even though it’s supposed to have IOG. The bomb should activate its IR seeker. descending phase, not in a gliding phase

I could be wrong, but that’s the impression this test gave me

seeker in TRK

9 km, Seeker has switched to IOG until the end

However, I was indeed using IR lock at 25 km on a Sam site

If they add the su35, that means China must also get them, and gaijin clearly don’t want China to be remotely comparable to Russia for even one version.

this do give some clue for my question

The bombs remain usable, but forget the advantage of launching them at high altitude. Finally, this rule only applies to simulation players, otherwise, for realistic games, there are no problems

hello, may i ask if this source explicitly states the WS-10? or if you have any proof of it referencing the WS-10 indirectly or directly? would be appreciated

whats the deal with the Countermeasures on the J-10 series

is there any confirmed data about the amounts across the different variants? (10A vs 10C vs 10C_paf)

J-10CE(P) seems to have an interesting CM loadout

not sure if it only has CM dispensers on the top of the fuselage and only TWO??

They’ll just do what Gaijin did to Germany and not give China the counterparts when they release. For example Russia got the Mig-23MLD 5 months before Germany got the Mig-23MLA, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Gaijin did a similar thing to China.

CM pods can be covered with a panel.
