How about you go through all 700 comments? It’s blatantly obvious to everyone that CAS haters are the minority. The number of likes on the OG post outweighing the number of commenters more than 10 fold is already telling enough.
I will go through them just for you. See you in an hour or so.
So the results are in. I counted 45 people that approve of the change, 42 that oppose this change and 25 that never expressed their opinion on the change (either responding to someone or just writing some weird nonsense and never making it clear if they are for or against).
I have counted 2 people too many but best case it goes to 43 for and 42 against, or worst case for you it goes to 45 for and 40 against the change.

-For the change because it solves a problem (which can be solved through other means)
-For the change because they just think it’s all around better.

What the first 100 comments say is not represenative. I went through all the 700 replies and counted the unique appearances. Most comments were from people with clearly etabilished views that could just be scrolled past. Like you, me, Morvran, RunaDacino, Pale_Horse_Rider.
This is just an attack on me personally. If you go through all the replies there are many many people just jumping in and saying they don’t like this change or that they support this change or something like that. The fact that the first 100 replies don’t show that is just a fact of you only looking at 7% of the data.

Where have I ever stated that there has been an influx of CAS haters. I just said that roughly the same amount of people like this change as compared to people disliking it.
I have not labeled anyone as CAS hater. You have done that. I only counted the number of people agreeing that this is a bad change at 42 and people saying they like this change at 45.
Stop making bad faith arguments. I did not do this as a personal vendetta against you. I just did not believe your claim that the majority of people in this thread disagree with the chamge and wanted to verify that myself. I spent 40 minutes going through the replies to see what the numbers for this thread are and here you are being all mean because you don’t agree.

gaijin should add a minbr for the change(my opinion is 10.0 or above)
because in low tier there isn’t many plane can both fight and cas(which means Almighty) especially for props.

If a plane cannnot take CAS loadouts it’s spawn cost does not change if you take out a plane which has CAS loadouts.
I mean for props a plane take CAS loadouts will make it weak in A2A battles because loadouts are heavy.And if they want to fight they may have to drop all the CAS loadouts and fight then rtb and rearm which means they have a long time can’t support ground.
Maybe the change should not just separate to fully A2A or CAS ,but have some weight limit for the loadout,like less than 1000kg maybe?
But that has always been the case though. Nothing changes now regarding that.

P-47s do require more space to maneuver so perhaps not in GRB, but going off of ASB P-47s make pretty damn good air to air fighters AND cas platforms.
Maybe you do need to drop armament to dogfight, yes but the airfield is ridiculously close.
It’s like 180 seconds tops to airspawn in drop bomb on B on Maginot Line (small) and Fields of Normandy, perma-WEP your way back to the airfield and then belly land after doing a weird self-induced stall.
Specific numbers from my test for fields of normandy in F4U-4B with 2x 1000 lbs bombs: Spawn at 0:18. Drop on B at: 1:02 drop on C at : 1:06. Landed (repair timer starts): 2:18.
Specific numbers from my test for Maginot line(winter) in F4U-4B with 2x 1000 lbs bombs: Spawn at 5:01. Drop on B at: 6:08 drop on C at : 6:08. Landed (repair timer starts): 7:27

What about bombers with poor ability to self-defense? Seems the changes not very friendly to them.They have much more higher danger to support ground but if they been shoot down then they almost can not CAS any more(they may can’t even avenge to the SPAAs),so…maybe i should change my suggestion to separate planes for 3 types:fighter fight-bomber and “striker”,fighter(with no loadouts) ,fight-bomber has limited ability to CAS(less than 1000kg or maybe 750kg loadouts),and do not share points with heavy loadout CAS (“strikers”) for low tier.I think that will make sense
Notjing changes for bombers though either. Unless you are one of the people that bring 2 bombers into ground somehow? And even then not much changes afaik.
Yak-9 is the only plane on that list that can both dogfight and CAS well. All others are either bad at dogfighting or bad at CAS.
