You know this person lacks any actual argument because it just devolves to this.
Can’t argue against the facts of where the guns sit in relation to the gun camera, so he just has to make up stuff because nothing else works.
He is even assuming that the Bf 110 G-2 has Mk 108s. He has no info for this. They don’t come with Mk 108s installed by default but I guess posting that documentation is going to be opinionated.
I can only infer based on the video footage we have, and using logical conclusions, assuming the Mk108 is being fired judging by how close the plane is to the 17
Tracers seem to be coming out right at camera level. Suspicious hmm. Must be that “gobbledegook statement bad faith” idealism that makes me see reality.
Odd you can’t even consider that you could merely be wrong.
I find it funny how you’re literally posting the exact same footage again after we told you this is not the original and is blurry as hell due to AI upscalling.
The original footage has already been posted before here, you can find it on YouTube extremely easily, I can only guess you’re either doing this on purpose or are just dumb.
Oh look suddenly when it’s not AI upscaled garbage you can go frame by frame and see the path of every single tracer and see they neatly come from below the gun camera’s view, and not “camera level”.
But I guess you don’t know how to go frame by frame in a video. Here’s the tutorial:
Pause.
Use the , and . keys to go back and go forward one frame respectively.
No I’m saying you can’t make that assumption which you have for the only reason being that it having MK 108s makes your claim of it tanking hits stronger. There is no evidence that this is using MK 108s, yet you seem to cling to it which is absurd.
What you can do, however, is use the eyes that God has so graciously (though it seems hopelessly) given you, to see how the tracers don’t match what would happen with MK 108 gun fire.
Incorrect. That is not my reasoning. Merely saying it can take a good mix of cannon fire is all I am getting at, which it clearly can.
Since we cannot assume it’s the 30mms, then we cannot assume it’s the 20mms either.
Well you told me beyond any doubt, that it cannot have 30mms.
So you apparently must’ve been around in 1940-1945?
Acting like this is going to get you yelled at by the @Forum Moderators
Your passive aggressive behavior is not welcome for discussion.
Actually we can. Because it’s not an assumption. This reads like someone that is just going based purely off of vibes.
The only guns that go below the gun camera are the MG 151s in the fuselage floor, the MG 151s in the M1 gun pod, and the 37mm BK 37 also in its gun pod.
If the 37mm is mounted, there are no MG 151s, this is explicitly stated in the manual for the R1 modification. However at the very start of the clip we see too many tracers coming from under the gun camera’s view for a singular 37mm cannon. This eliminates the 37mm and means only the 20mm can be under the gun camera (because again you can’t have both, explicitly stated).
There’s enough evidence that there are no 30mm hits in this clip. No use repeating myself. This quite literally leaves only the MG 151s, and that is with NO ASSUMPTIONS. Pure reasoning.
Yeah the bf110g2 footage, I checked tracer angles, rate of fire, everything, because I too believed it was the mk108 in an earlier argument, its two mg151s under the nose firing a tracer every 3rd round in its belt, the mk108s would probably temporarily blind the camera with muzzle flashes due to their placement aswell… There is a me163 guncam video where it is hitting a B17 with mk108s tho and it did take it pretty well, I believe its the only actual footage of an me163 guncam
