THE PANTHER ROUND IN FACT, DOES MORE DAMAGE
also correct, and gaijin did bring that up and the community shut it down, so rn ingame APHE blast goes in a sphere, not dissimilar to the HE-TF flying a little slower after, y’know, flying up to bomber altitude. and if you watch the video you can actually see that in action somewhat, you see fuel blasting out the top and bottom of the wing, but moreso the top
But what are we arguing about then? We agree that RL physics of Ammo and others are different ingame, so what?
Shouldnt we argue about how many hits a plane takes in RL vs ingame? With that we can ignore the non realistic physics and focus on the correct results that a hit, or multiple should do
That’s a lot of mental gymnastics just to say your methodology is inherently wrong and you’re just trying to force the outcome you want, in the face of the current damage models being completely fictional.
You’ve even turned to continuously denying the HE shell has a delay fuse, even though you can see it on the statcard, and you can see it exploding well inside the aircraft in protection analysis.
Also, you’re not even right in your assumption that it hit the spar. It blew the entire fuel tank inside out and the forward-most edge of the giant hole is right behind the spar.

This isn’t lucky at all.
this is perfectly flyable

just to bring this info down to the bottom of the thread again…
Percussion brought it up, but honestly the model seems pretty spot on based on sources both from the dev discussion and even gaijin’s own posts
from what? a b24? or all bombers? cause i can tell you… i flew 2 round tu2s today… and it was a shitfest… yesterday i flew 1 match t18b… same story there…
we already discussed this, its too vague, 4-5 hits in the same area, where is that area, could literally be the nose which theyw ere instructed to aim for, including engines and fuel tanks, not “dump everything center mass itll explode lol”
The US also did a study in 1947 on some aircraft like the p47 and b25, B25s chance of dying within 5 minutes to 10 mk108 hits aimed from the rear quarter from 500m was 53%
Then they did tests before full war thunder lego style structural failures, and its not looking good for fighter mains
when your closure rate is in the 800kph+ range it is just shooting center mass and letting the projectile spread and rate of fire do the hitting for you.
i mean, if a bomber get 10 hits from a 20mm minengeschoss, on different spots… i would argue that the skin is gone by quite a high percentage, so the plane will have a though time with drag and lift
You’ve also already been told you misread the A and B kill classifications in the other thread.
Maybe you should ask your AI council to remember these things for you.
I was told I was wrong by a guy who was wrong about me being wrong, posted an ai generated graph, which he then took down after he realised it proved me right, then started personally attacking me until his account got suspended for a week. Yeah bro, hes trustworthy lmao
is it know what ammo they used? If i am not mistaken the germans had one thin shelled minengeschoss and a “normal” one… which has acc do google 136g tnt eq. which is more then we have ingame
90% of your messages are AI generated.
I wish, would save me the headache of trying to reason with you guys lol
“Grok, win this argument for me and check my emails”
now i was testing the rounds of the 37mm gun of the Ostwind and the one with less explosive mass did more damage on the B-29
FI rounds are weird ingame, TNT equivalent IS lower, but the explosive mass is 0.61kg on that shell vs 0.57, statcard isnt the whole story there, cause card is only counting the bursting charge TNT vs the rest of the actual payload, atleast thats my theory on it. Who knows, could just be broken
for me that looks very critical.
Imagine this is in the air and under load/stress … not just sitting on the ground detached.
But again, smt u dont seem to argue about is that its unbalanced…as long as we all agree with that lol
