You could have zero battles in bombers and still be a bomber glazer. Games played in bombers has little to do with it.

Guys, are we seriously doing this again?
We already had a 2500 message thread and extras all about this stuff.
Gaijin has their sources, the bomber side of the argument has sources supporting gaijin’s, and the fighter side had sources with blenheim and he111 tail sections as targets, all of these arguments here have already happened before
Just drop it, make your bug reports where gaijin will actually see it, and in the meantime improve your aim against cockpits, engines, and tails. Thats literally all it takes to send a bomber to the ground within a few minutes
The boys and I have spent the last 6-7 hours just playing bombers, and bomber hunters, and heres what weve seen, people having fun, gunship duels, having a chance to limp a battered bomber home and put your airmanship to the test, BOMBER FORMATIONS, like my god, its like old war thunder is peaking out of the shadows for the first time in a decade, and its something weve needed for so, so long.
Bombers feel good against gunfire, and even line up with previously established documentation, maybe bump fire damage a bit, and reduce their resistance to collisions, add a few more modules like hydraulics systems and superchargers, and we are pretty much set. Experienced players can kill em in one pass, inexperienced players will die, complain, then learn, and itll be fine. Same reaction as aim54s and fakours, hell, back in the day bombers were more durable if anything and the community figured out how to kill em anyhow.

Good for you, but like I said, give the dim witted fighter main some time to get it through their thick skulls they need to us TACTICS to engage bombers again and see how it goes then… remember Phoenix A missiles where OP AF until people learned.

As I said previously, you are the problem because you only see things in black or white. You thinking there is nothing wrong with how bombers currently are is peak delusion.
Bombers were not reasonable before the patch.
Bombers are not reasonable after the patch.
They should be somewhere in-between but people like you who are so mind-numbingly polarised have absolutely zero room for nuance.
Frankly not going to waste any more time arguing against the unreasonable, this overbuff will most certainly see a correction before long so time will prove me right. Enjoy.

Sure let’s give it a check:
- Fuel: it’s already there and, as i said, is one of the 4 ways you can kill a bomber now, hope that he finishes it
- Hydraulic lines that can be destroyed and cause fires: sure cool, except fire currently does ZERO damage to bombers
- Oxygen tanks: uhhhh i just go dogfight fighters at no more than 1000-2000m
Yup seems to be perfectly fine, let’s add boxes with food too so we can hope that they starve before the 25 minutes timer
