Changes to Bomber Survivability

They don’t look low velocity at all. And the explosions seen would be way larger if they were.

You are doing exactly the same without providing anything to actually disprove it.

Also that, his very first “counter” is literally his opinion on the round velocity.

Meanwhile even @RoyalWaffles admitted that these are 20mm rounds, because any sound person that isn’t arguing in bad faith can see that.

Suddenly opinionated guesses are basically as good as it comes!

psychologists would have decades of work just studying WT players

I mean and I’m not even doing opinionated assuming.

His argument requires that the tracers suddenly teleport to go below the gun camera. Sure.

Hence, gobbledegook statement. Throwing crap at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.

@UniqueScorpions-live

Disclaimer: this is not i how i approach, or would advise anyone to approach destroying bombers in the game currently, I did it for this video. At the end of the video, because being low on ammo, i used my preferred method which i highly encourage people to do.

If realism was the goal, the wing and all of it’s structure should be completely shredded at the root area where the rounds hit, and due to aerodynamic forces it should be ripped off.
AP belt’s for both the 13mm and 20mm guns.

And because someone will eventually say it’s hard to see that i actually hit it, because of the oil leak blocking the view, here’s the server replay: Gaijin Entertainment - Single Sign On

Yeah no the trailing edge of planes is pretty much as close as you can get to invincible right now.

Sure, if I aimed for other spots of the B-29 it would kill him. This is the worst possible shot you can do right now with HE rounds (technically HE + SAP here).

But 500 20mm rounds into a single specific spot of a bomber should kill. No questions. Just because the trailing edge is more durable doesn’t mean the trailing edge is invincible.

Edit: Should be mentioned, German guns in particular suffer because they also have way lower pen in general than other nations, even when using AP rounds. Anything with less than 20mm pen seems to just not be great.

Dido to you then.

Your statement is very much in favor of an nerf merely because bombers aren’t free food for you anymore.

You know this person lacks any actual argument because it just devolves to this.

Can’t argue against the facts of where the guns sit in relation to the gun camera, so he just has to make up stuff because nothing else works.

He is even assuming that the Bf 110 G-2 has Mk 108s. He has no info for this. They don’t come with Mk 108s installed by default but I guess posting that documentation is going to be opinionated.

I can’t, I wasn’t there.

I can only infer based on the video footage we have, and using logical conclusions, assuming the Mk108 is being fired judging by how close the plane is to the 17

This. Eventually there would be enough damage to the wing structure as a whole to where aerodynamic forces would completely rip off the wing.

That initial range is nothing unusual in WW2 engagement terms.

Tracers seem to be coming out right at camera level. Suspicious hmm. Must be that “gobbledegook statement bad faith” idealism that makes me see reality.

Odd you can’t even consider that you could merely be wrong.

Sounds very oppinionated.

Also, posting the version with AI hallucinated audio? lol

I find it funny how you’re literally posting the exact same footage again after we told you this is not the original and is blurry as hell due to AI upscalling.

The original footage has already been posted before here, you can find it on YouTube extremely easily, I can only guess you’re either doing this on purpose or are just dumb.

Oh look suddenly when it’s not AI upscaled garbage you can go frame by frame and see the path of every single tracer and see they neatly come from below the gun camera’s view, and not “camera level”.

But I guess you don’t know how to go frame by frame in a video. Here’s the tutorial:

  • Pause.
  • Use the , and . keys to go back and go forward one frame respectively.

Like I said previous, if they reduced how strong These were by 10-15% while also making Ai gunners actually useful…

I think they’d be pretty well balanced. Granted I know you weren’t going for the easy kill, but an easy one tap to the cockpit was an instant kill.

Engine fires / wing fires are pretty harmful to bombers as well…

So I don’t think they’re all too OP or too weak.
But again, like I said in my first paragraph

So your assumption is that the Bf-110 didn’t have mk108s installed.

So would you say there is without a doubt, no way they could’ve been installed?

No I’m saying you can’t make that assumption which you have for the only reason being that it having MK 108s makes your claim of it tanking hits stronger. There is no evidence that this is using MK 108s, yet you seem to cling to it which is absurd.

What you can do, however, is use the eyes that God has so graciously (though it seems hopelessly) given you, to see how the tracers don’t match what would happen with MK 108 gun fire.

The tracers clearly fly out from below the camera.
It’s okay to admit being wrong.

IF they were installed, they’re clearly not being used.
